💊My Health🏥
I’m a healthy, well-cared-for boy and have received all my essential vaccinations:
• DHPPL, Coronavirus, Kennel Cough – all up to date as of April 6, 2025
• Rabies – vaccinated on May 1, 2024, with a follow-up planned
I had a benign cyst removed from my side (local anesthesia, April 2025), and I handled it like a champ. I also had a full dental cleaning in early 2023, so my teeth are in good shape.
I do have a mild chicken allergy, so I’m on a poultry-free diet. And sometimes my ears get a little sensitive, so my foster family does gentle, regular checks to keep me comfy.
Oh—and I’ve tested heartworm negative as of January 2023! 🐾

 

🐕My Personality🐕
Hi there! I’m Naldol-i, a calm and gentle soul with the heart of a quiet poet. I’ve spent quite a bit of time waiting patiently for the right person to come along and I still believe that person is out there. At first, I may take a little time to warm up. I like to observe, take in your energy, and make sure I can trust you. But offer me a snack (I never say no to a tasty treat!) and speak to me gently, and you’ll see my walls come down. Before long, I’ll be leaning into your lap, nudging you for head scratches, and giving soft little boops with my nose. I express love in the sweetest ways like snuggling up quietly or giving you little nudges when I want affection. And when I don’t feel like doing something (like grooming or putting on a harness), I’ll let you know with gentle rubs and puppy eyes instead of fussing. It’s my polite way of saying, “Maybe not right now?”

 

🐕Social Skills🐶
• With People: I’m selective, but once we bond, I’m full of affection. I may not ask for attention right away, but when I do, I give it with all my heart. I can even be picked up and held gently once we’re close.
• With Other Dogs: I’m polite and respectful I'll say hello to other pups on walks, but I don’t usually engage in rough play or high-energy games. I tend to keep to myself and feel more relaxed around calm dogs.
• With Cats: I haven’t spent time around cats yet, so I’m not sure how I’d react.

 

🦮On My Walks🚶‍♀️
I’ve had a lot of practice on leash, and I enjoy our quiet outdoor time. I usually walk calmly beside my person and follow their lead. If something is unfamiliar, I might hesitate for a moment but a kind word and a yummy treat help me find my confidence again. I even wear my harness, collar, and jackets without a fuss!

• I rarely bark and prefer to keep things peaceful.
• I’m tidy, too I usually do my business outside.
• Whether I’m in the car or in my kennel at home, I settle in quietly and rest.
• I love light-hearted playtime with people I trust but I’m just as happy curling up for a calm cuddle afterward.
