🐕 MY RESCUE STORY🐕

Hi there! I’m Jean. I was born in the quiet countryside of Paju, where my mom had been left all alone and neglected. Despite everything, she gave birth to me and my siblings and did her best to keep us safe. But word got out that we were going to be sold off to an unknown place — that’s when a kind rescuer stepped in. They couldn’t bear to see me end up in the wrong hands, so they brought me to safety just in time.

 

Now, I’m looking for a forever home where I’ll be loved and cherished. I may have had a rough start, but I’ve got a gentle heart and so much love to give. Could you be the one to write the next chapter of my story?

🐕 MY PERSONALITY🐕

I may be a little shy at first, still learning to understand this big, new world around me. Everything is so new, and I like to take my time to quietly observe before I feel safe. But the volunteers and staff always tell me how small and precious I am — like a tiny treasure! They think I’ll stay petite even when I’m all grown up, probably around 7–8kg.

While I’m sensitive to new environments, with a little patience and gentle encouragement, I begin to open up like a flower in the sun. Once I feel safe, my true personality shines through — sweet, affectionate, and full of love. In fact, back when I lived in the sanctuary, I was known for being outgoing and friendly once I got comfortable. I just need a kind heart to help guide me, remind me I’m safe, and give me the space to grow into the confident, joyful pup I’m meant to be. With you by my side, I know I’ll blossom.

 

🐕 MY SOCIAL SKILLS🐕

With People: I may be a little shy at first, but I have a gentle spirit — I’ll quietly take treats from your hand and watch you with curious eyes. I’m not quite ready for pets right away, but with a bit of patience and kindness, I’ll begin to trust. Give me a few days — sometimes up to a week — and I’ll start to come out of my shell and warm up to you.

 

Even though I’m a little on the timid side, I’m never reactive. You can gently pick me up, and I’ll happily let you hold me with care. I’m still a young pup, discovering the world one paw-step at a time. With the right exposure, a calm and loving environment, and plenty of patience, I know I’ll blossom into a confident and joyful companion. I just need someone who will believe in me and give me the time to grow. I also want you to know I don’t guard my food or toys—I’m happy to share and trust the people around me.

 

With Dogs:  I’m a bit shy around people at first, but with dogs, I’m a total social butterfly! I love meeting new furry friends and playing with pups of all sizes. As a young pup, I’m still learning all the best puppy manners and social skills from my friends. You’ll be happy to know I don’t guard my food or toys—I’m happy to share and play peacefully with other dogs.

 

With Cats:  I haven’t met any cats yet, but with a slow and thoughtful introduction, I think I could learn to live peacefully with a feline friend.

 

 

🔋 ENERGY AND ACTIVITIES 🎲

I have a moderate to high energy level — what can I say, I’m a puppy after all! I love to play, explore, and burn off some energy before settling down for a cozy nap. If you’re ready for some fun and activity, I’m your perfect companion!

 

🎲TRAINING & HABITS⭐

I’m still learning how to walk nicely on a leash and follow my handler’s lead. Being a young pup, I’m curious about everything around me — I love to explore, sniff, and sometimes get a little excited and pull when something catches my attention. I especially enjoy taking my time for my “sniff inspections” during walks!

Loud noises and sudden movements can startle me, so I do best in quieter areas. Because I can be a bit fearful in busy city environments, it’s very important that I’m always double-leashed with both a collar and harness, and I wear a GPS tracker for extra safety. When I get scared, I might try to bolt or lie down flat, but I’m learning to stay calm.

 

I’m also working on settling quietly in my kennel — sometimes I whine at first, but I’m getting better every day. I’m still mastering potty habits and sometimes go indoors, but I’m learning fast and doing well outside too.

 

🏠 MY IDEAL HOME 💕

I’m looking for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with:

- A family that offers a safe, structured, and calm environment.

- A family that enjoys spending quality time together indoors & outdoors.

- A family that can shower me with love and attention.

- I’m still a young pup with some fears, and I need a patient, understanding family who will use gentle guidance and positive reinforcement to help me build confidence and overcome my fears step by step.

- Ideally home with another dog sibling that I can bond with – not an absolute requirement!

 

💌SPECIAL NOTES💌

I’m a sweet young pup learning to build confidence and feel comfortable in new places. I need a calm and patient home where someone will gently guide me with kindness and positive encouragement. It might take me a little time to warm up, but once I do, I’ll be a loyal and loving companion. For my safety, I do best with a secure, double-leash setup on walks and a quiet spot where I can relax and feel safe. In the beginning, I’ll need some extra time to settle into my new environment.
