🐕My Personality🐕

Hi, I’m Brandy a bright, affectionate girl with the smarts of a Border Collie and the loyalty of a Jindo. I was rescued from a shelter on what could’ve been my last day, and since then, I’ve been soaking up life with enthusiasm and heart.

I absolutely adore people. Whether we’re already friends or meeting for the first time, I’m likely to come right up to you, lean in close, and invite a good cuddle. I even love belly rubs and don’t mind being picked up it makes me feel close to you.

I’m full of energy and joy, especially when I get to go for walks or play outside. Once I’ve had my fun, I can relax and enjoy some quiet time too. I thrive on connection and attention, and I’m always looking for ways to make you smile.

 

🐕Social Skills🐶

• With People: I love people deeply. I haven’t met young children yet, but I’m affectionate with adults and would do well in a home where I get plenty of positive attention and time with my humans.
• With Other Dogs: I’m friendly and outgoing with dogs I know, and I’m generally open to meeting new ones especially if they’re polite. I do best with dogs who are either calm or a bit bigger than me, and I’d shine as an only dog where I can have all the love to myself.
• With Cats: I haven’t had the chance to meet cats, so I’m not sure yet how I’d feel around them.

 

🔋On My Walks🎲

Walks are an exciting part of my day! I sometimes pull on the leash because I’m eager to explore, but I take direction well and enjoy having a person to follow. I’m active and would love an adopter who enjoys outdoor adventures as much as I do.

 

🏠Life at Home💕

I don’t guard my food. I prefer doing my business outside and am used to that routine. I rarely bark unless I really want something, and even then, it’s just my way of talking to you.

Because I’m such a people-loving girl, I can get a little competitive for attention. If I’m in a home with another dog, it’s best if that pup is calm or a bit bigger than me so we can stay peaceful. But honestly, I’d also be perfectly happy being your one and only.
