🐕 My Story 🐕
Hi, I’m Andre a little gentleman with a big heart and even bigger eyes. I may be small, but there’s a whole lot of sweetness packed into this 4-kilo frame.

I was rescued from a city shelter where my future wasn’t looking too bright. But thanks to some kind people, I got a second chance. I even found a home once, drawn in by my teddy bear looks, but I guess we weren’t quite the right match. I felt scared when left alone, and I didn’t know how to explain it except through whimpers and pacing. They didn’t quite understand, so I came back to the rescue. But here’s the thing: I haven’t given up hope.

I know there’s a family out there who will see beyond my surface and fall in love with all of me the cuddly, curious, sensitive boy who just wants to belong.

 

🐕My Personality🐕
People say I’m like a little cloud of joy floating through the world. I’m soft, friendly, and so affectionate that even strangers find themselves smiling when I trot over for a hello. Whether you’re someone I’ve known forever or just met, I’ll happily lean into you or nestle beside you.

I have a calm, gentle way about me and prefer the quiet life, peaceful strolls, cozy naps, and the occasional sunbeam to nap in. But don’t get me wrong. I’ve got a playful side too. I can entertain myself when needed and am quite the independent little player when the mood strikes.

Sometimes, I get vocal when I want something like attention, food, or reassurance but it’s just me trying to communicate. And when it’s time to rest, I love to settle quietly by your side.

 

🐕 Social Skills 🐶
• With People: I absolutely adore humans! I’m the kind of pup who melts in your arms and happily receives belly rubs or cuddles. I can even be lifted gently without fuss.
• With Dogs: I’m polite and friendly with other dogs, especially calm ones. I’m not a fan of overly hyper energy it’s a little much for me and I mostly keep to myself in group settings.
• With Cats: I haven’t met any cats yet, so we’re not sure how I’d do, but I’m always open to meeting new friends the right way.

 

🔋 On My Walks 🎲
Walks? Yes, please! I’m a well-behaved walker and love following my human’s lead. I don’t pull on the leash and enjoy sniffing my way through the neighborhood. After some fresh air and adventure, I’m ready to settle in for a cozy break.

 

🏠 Life at Home 💕

At home, I use both indoor pads and outdoor spaces for potty time. I don’t guard my food with people though I do get a little enthusiastic when taking treats (working on my table manners!).

One thing to note: being left alone still makes me nervous. I feel safest when someone is around. With a little patience, support, and training, I believe I can learn to feel more secure over time.

 

🏠 My Ideal Home 💕
I’m looking for a home where someone understands that little dogs have big feelings, too. A calm environment with gentle humans who appreciate soft companionship would be my dream. Someone who works from home, is retired, or just has time to be around more often would help me feel safe and loved.
