My Personality
I’m Percy, a gentle soul with a soft heart and curious eyes. I come from a small shelter in Korea, and since leaving that chapter behind, I’ve discovered how much I love people  even ones I’ve never met before. I’m the kind of girl who quietly approaches for affection and is happy to let you scoop me up into your arms.

In new places, I sometimes take a little pause to observe, but I warm up quickly once I know I’m safe. I’m a mellow, well-balanced girl who enjoys peaceful surroundings and soft voices. I’ve been told I have a very “even” temperament friendly, but not overwhelming.

I’m also doing really well with my training I’ve gotten used to walks, car rides in a crate, and being around kind humans. I’m polite and pretty adaptable!

 

My Social Life
• With People: I’m warm and friendly with people, even strangers. I’ll happily approach you and let you pet me, and once we know each other, I’ll even show you my belly. I don’t mind being picked up, in fact, I find comfort in it.
• With Other Dogs: I like to say hello to other dogs, especially ones my size. While I’m not overly playful, I enjoy peaceful company. I do best when introductions are done slowly and gently.
• With Cats: I haven’t had a chance to meet any cats, so I’m not quite sure how I’d feel just yet.

 

On My Walks
Walks are such a nice part of the day. I do pull a little when I’m excited, but I’m responsive and happy to follow your pace. I’m used to my leash now and really enjoy being outside whether it’s a short stroll or a longer outing. After some fresh air, I like to relax quietly nearby.

 

Life at Home
I’m a peaceful housemate who enjoys calm environments. I know how to use indoor pads but I also prefer doing my business outside when I can. I don’t guard my food with people and I’ve learned that quiet mealtimes are the best.

I’m not much of a barker. I’m just the right mix of independence and affection someone you can trust to quietly hang out by your side or cuddle up when you’re ready.
