🐕 MY RESCUE STORY🐕

Hi there! I’m Ash. I was rescued from a city pound where, through no fault of my own, I was put on the euthanasia list simply because there wasn’t enough room. Luckily, rescuers gave me a second chance, and now I’m ready to find a family to call my own. Despite my rough start, I’m still a gentle soul with a heart full of hope. I dream of the day I can finally feel safe, loved, and cherished in a forever home.

 

💊 MY HEALTH🏥

• Fully vaccinated (5-round series complete)
• I’ve been spayed and have no known health issues.
• I had an issue with my right eye previously and had to get it removed.

 

🐕 MY PERSONALITY🐕

When you meet me, you’ll notice I’m missing my right eye—but that doesn’t slow me down one bit! I’m a sweet, young pup with a gentle and loving personality. I get along wonderfully with both people and other dogs. And don’t get me started on my looks—my fluffy, fuzzy fur is my signature style, and I’m even more handsome in person!

 

🐕 MY SOCIAL SKILLS🐕

• With People: I’m an absolute sweetheart who loves people of all ages! I melt for attention and affection, and I have a special soft spot for kids—especially those who are gentle and respectful. I’m so cute and cuddly that once you pick me up, you won’t want to put me down! I can’t wait to find a loving family to shower with snuggles, love, and endless tail wags.
• With Dogs:  I get along well with other dogs and love meeting new furry friends! I enjoy greeting them and making new buddies, though I’m not afraid to stand my ground if another dog gets a bit pushy, so supervised introductions are important. I’m still a young pup, learning my social manners, and with a little guidance, I’ll keep growing into the perfect playmate.
• With Cats:  I haven’t met any cats yet, but with a slow and thoughtful introduction, I think I could learn to live peacefully with a feline friend.

 

🔋 ENERGY AND ACTIVITIES 🎲

I have a nice, balanced energy level — just the right mix of adventure and relaxation! I love spending time outdoors, taking in the sights and smells, but once I’m back inside, I settle down easily and enjoy a calm, cozy rest. Whether we’re out for a walk or lounging at home, I’m happy just being by your side.

 

🎲TRAINING & HABITS⭐

I can pull at times but generally follow my handler’s lead well. I don’t guard my food against other dogs and people. I can bark when I want attention and I know how to rest calmly in my kennel. I potty both indoors and outdoors. I have a tendency to mark when I’m in a new environment.

I’m looking for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with:

💌SPECIAL NOTES💌

Staff and volunteers often praise me for being sweet, gentle, and patient. Out of my siblings, I’m the most well-mannered and handled my photoshoot like a star—even when some of the other dogs were a bit pushy! My fur is incredibly soft, and I just know that my perfect forever family is out there, waiting to give me all the love I have to give.
