🐕 MY RESCUE STORY🐕
Hi there! I’m Coffee. I’m not quite sure how I ended up at the city pound, but my mom, my siblings, and I found ourselves on the euthanasia list simply because there wasn’t enough space. Thankfully, some kind rescuers stepped in just in time and gave us a second chance. Since then, I’ve been growing up safe and loved at the care facility, learning what it means to be a happy pup. Now, I’m ready to find my forever family — one that will fill my days with love, playtime, and all the cozy naps a dog could dream of.

I’m a super sweet girl with soft, beautiful brown fur — just like a warm cup of coffee on a peaceful morning, which is how I got my name! When you first see me, you’ll notice how tiny and irresistibly cute I am. Everyone at the care facility absolutely adores me — the volunteers say I’m one of the most lovable pups around! My gentle nature and charm win hearts in an instant. I’m not just cute, though — I’m also smart, affectionate, and full of love to give. With my mix of sweetness and smarts, I know I’ll bring so much joy to my future family.
🐕 MY SOCIAL SKILLS🐕
With People: I’m a super friendly girl who loves people! I enjoy getting pets and affection from everyone I meet. While I can be just a teeny bit shy at first in new environments (I’m still a young pup learning about the big world!), it doesn’t take me long at all to warm up. Once I feel comfortable, my sweet and trusting side shines through — I even like to show my belly as a sign of trust, sometimes even to new friends I just met! I’m gentle and easygoing, and I don’t guard my food against people.
With Dogs: I’m also very friendly with my dog friends! Playtime is one of my absolute favourite times of the day. I’m an easygoing girl who already knows my social manners well. Even if another dog gets a little pushy or rude, I prefer to stay calm and simply walk away from the drama. I get along nicely with everyone and even share my space politely — I don’t guard my food against other dogs either.
With Cats: I haven’t met any cats yet so my reaction is unknown. Due to my sweet & friendly personality, I may do well with calm cats that are respectful of my space and with thoughtful and slow introductions.
🔋 ENERGY AND ACTIVITIES 🎲
I have a moderate energy level. I like to spend time outdoors, but after a walk session and soaking up some sunlight, I will happily snuggle up and rest indoors.
🎲TRAINING & HABITS⭐
I’m still learning my leash manners and would love some continued guidance. I’m improving day by day and walk much better in calm, quiet environments. Busy areas can still make me a little nervous, so patience and reassurance help me feel safe. It’s best to double-leash me with both a harness and collar, and to use a GPS tracker during walks—just to be extra safe! I’m a good girl who knows how to rest quietly in my kennel, and I can do my potty both indoors and outdoors.
