💖 MY PERSONALITY 💖
I’m a sweet and gentle dog with a bit of shyness at first, especially around new people or new environments. Since I spent my early life in a shelter kennel, I naturally have some caution, but once I feel safe, I open up quickly. I get along very well with other dogs right away and often feel more confident when another dog is around. I have a high energy level outdoors and love to run and play, but after enough activity, I can relax calmly. I rarely bark, and I try to avoid conflict with others.
🐶 MY SOCIAL SKILLS 🐶
· With People: I can be a little shy at first, but if you offer me a treat, I’ll take it and warm up quickly. Once I feel comfortable, I’m okay with being touched. I haven’t had experience around children under 13. You can lift me by placing your arms under my belly.
· With Dogs: I’m very social, so I like to greet and play with not only dogs I already know but also new dogs I meet. I’m generally friendly toward dogs that are similar in size to me. Even if another dog tries to provoke me, I tend to avoid conflict. I often feel more secure when I’m with another dog and do better in environments where I have a canine companion.
· With Cats: I haven’t been observed around cats, so it’s unclear how I would react to them.
⚡️ ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY ⚡️
I have a high energy level, so I need enough outdoor activity before I can settle down calmly. Since I spent my early days in a shelter kennel, I have a bit of shyness and caution, but with time and patience, I’m expected to open up beautifully.
🧠 TRAINING & HABITS 🧠
I tend to pull on the leash, but I generally follow my person well. I don’t have much walking experience yet, so if I encounter something scary, I may flatten myself to the ground. I rarely bark.
🏡 MY IDEAL HOME 🏡
I would do best with a patient and understanding family who will give me time to adjust at my own pace. A home that can provide regular outdoor exercise will help me feel happy and balanced. Having another friendly dog in the household would be a big comfort to me and help me feel more secure. I may need gentle training for leash walking and confidence outdoors, but I learn quickly and just need a kind, consistent guide.
💌 SPECIAL NOTES 💌
I still have a very young and puppy-like side to me. With just a little training, I can learn things quickly. I haven’t had many chances to run yet, so I can be a bit clumsy, but once I start playing, I get really excited and run around happily. I’m considered a Level 2 rescue dog. (Because I lived in a raised cage for a long time, my toes are spread out like a fan. When I meet new people or go to unfamiliar places, I can be a little cautious at first, but I’m expected to warm up quickly.)
