I was on the list for euthanasia at a crowded city pound when kind people stepped in just in time. I am now safe and ready to meet my forever family and embark on a new journey!

💖 MY PERSONALITY 💖

Hi, I’m Dumbo, a charming little short-legged pup with a big personality! With my large ears and adorable big paws, people say I’m impossible not to love. I’m quick and clever—if I think I might get scolded, I’ll dash off and hide for a moment. But I can’t stay away for long! I come right back and stick close to my people because I love being near them. I’m affectionate and enjoy spending time with both humans and my dog friends. If you’re petting another dog, I might gently push my head in to say, “Don’t forget about me!”

I’m a sweet little pup who adapts quickly to new homes. With my loving personality and adorable looks, I’m ready to bring joy, cuddles, and lots of smiles to my forever family.

 

🐶 MY SOCIAL SKILLS 🐶

· With People: I enjoy greeting people, including strangers! I can be pet and be held in your arms! I haven’t had the chance to meet children under the age of 13, but I’m sure I’ll get along great with them!

· With Dogs: I love playing with my dog friends too! I get along with all dogs, I’m a social butterfly!

· With Cats: I do show some curiosity when I see cats. I might watch them or show interest because they’re new and interesting to me. But don’t worry — I’m not aggressive toward them. With proper introductions and guidance, I am sure I will get along great with cat friends.

 

⚡️ ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY ⚡️

I have moderate energy level – I enjoy my playtime outdoors and I am happy to come in and snuggle beside my family afterwards!

I’m still very young, so I’m still learning my walking manners. I’ll need a little leash training and guidance. With patience and practice, I know I can become a great walking companion.

 

🧠 TRAINING & HABITS 🧠

I don’t guard my food from people or dogs.

I may bark to let you know when I really want something. It’s my way of saying, “Hey, I’d love that, please!” With a little guidance and routine, I can learn better ways to ask for what I need.

When I’m placed in a kennel, I stay calm and well-behaved. I settle in nicely and relax.

I am trained to potty both indoors using a pee-pad and outdoors.

I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with:
