🐾 MY RESCUE STORY 🐾

I was pregnant and wandering the streets alone when I was rescued and brought to a city pound. It was there that I safely gave birth to my puppies and cared for them as they grew.

One by one, my puppies found loving homes of their own, while I stayed behind waiting for my turn. Now that my job as a mother is complete, I'm ready to leave my past behind and start a new chapter of my own.

I'm patiently waiting for a forever family who will love and cherish me for the rest of my life. After everything I've been through, I can't wait to finally know what it feels like to have a home of my very own.

I'm a super sweet girl, and my pretty looks will definitely catch your attention! I can be a little shy when I'm in a new environment or meeting new people, and I appreciate having some time to warm up and take everything in at my own pace.

But I promise I'm worth the wait. I'm incredibly gentle and, with a little patience and kindness, I quickly begin to open up and happily accept pets, affection, and cuddles. I truly enjoy being around people and continue to build my confidence and explore the world one day at a time.

Watching me come out of my shell and show my loving personality is one of the most rewarding things, and I'm excited to share that journey with my forever family.

 

🐶 MY SOCIAL SKILLS 🐶

· With People: I'm a little shy when we first meet and appreciate having some time to warm up at my own pace. Give me a little patience and kindness and before long I'll begin accepting pets and showing you my sweet personality.

I tend to do best in calmer environments where I can feel safe and comfortable while building my confidence. Once I settle in and learn to trust you, my gentle and affectionate side starts to shine through.

· With Dogs: I enjoy greeting new dog friends and saying hello, but I don't usually jump straight into play. I'm more of an independent girl and prefer to do my own thing and keep to myself. While I'm friendly and polite with other dogs, I'm happiest simply coexisting peacefully and enjoying my own space.

· With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.

 

⚡️ ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY ⚡️

I have a low energy level and am a mellow, easygoing girl who doesn't ask for much. I'm happiest enjoying the simple things in life such as quiet companionship, a comfortable place to rest, and spending time with my people. While I still enjoy fresh air and leisurely walks, I'm just as happy relaxing indoors and curling up for a cozy nap afterwards. I have a calm presence and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a quieter, lower-maintenance friend.

 

🧠 TRAINING & HABITS 🧠

I don't guard my food from people or my dog friends. I'm generally a very quiet girl and rarely bark. I'm still learning my leash manners and improving every day as I continue to build my confidence and explore the world around me.

I know how to rest calmly in my kennel and settle in nicely when it's time to relax. For potty habits, I can use both pee pads indoors and go potty outdoors, giving my future family a wonderful foundation to build on.

 

🏡 MY IDEAL HOME 🏡

I’m searching for a patient, understanding, loving family who will give me the time and security I need to feel truly at home. I'll thrive in a home with:

• A family who appreciates the little ways I show my love – I may not be the type to immediately seek attention, but I like to know where my person is and stay nearby. As I grow comfortable, I may show my affection in quiet ways, like staying close or wagging my tail when you come home.

• A calm, well-socialized canine companion, if possible – I get along well with other dogs, and having a calm, confident resident dog could help me feel more secure and learn that my new home is a safe place. A home with a well-adjusted dog would be one of my ideal matches.

• A family who will continue building my confidence – I’m naturally very shy and fearful, so I’ll need continued gentle socialization and confidence-building while always respecting my comfort level.

• A family who enjoys peaceful walks and everyday life together – I walk well on leash and am comfortable going potty during walks. Although I’m timid, I’m very gentle and cooperative with handling and routine care such as baths, brushing, nail trims, and grooming.

• A family committed to keeping me safe – When something suddenly frightens me, my instinct may be to try to run away. Strict escape-prevention and leash safety are essential, and a Tractive GPS tracker will be required to help keep me safe.

• A family who will love me for exactly who I am – I may never become an outgoing, constantly cuddly dog, and that’s okay. I’m looking for someone who will celebrate my smallest steps, understand my quiet way of connecting, and find joy simply in having me by their side.

Having raised my puppies and overcome a difficult past, I'm now ready for a chapter that is all about me. I'm learning that the world can be a safe and happy place, and with patience and encouragement, my personality continues to blossom.
