🐾 MY RESCUE STORY 🐾
I was rescued from an abusive and neglected environment after spending my early life in a puppy mill where dogs were bred unethically and used for grooming practice. Thankfully, my story didn't end there. Kind rescuers gave me a second chance, and now I'm finally discovering what safety, kindness, and love feel like. I'm ready to leave my past behind and find the forever family who will cherish me for the rest of my days.

I'm an incredibly sweet and gentle girl, and the volunteers and staff are always complimenting me on just how adorable and loving I am! Despite my difficult past, I absolutely adore people and have no trouble approaching strangers with trust and curiosity. I'm definitely more of a people's pup and love making new human friends wherever I go.
Because I love my people so much and form strong bonds with them, I can sometimes get a little jealous when other dogs are getting attention instead of me. For that reason, I would likely thrive as the only dog in the home or with a family that understands my desire to be the center of attention and can help me navigate those feelings appropriately.
Being a Mini Poodle, I'm a smart little cookie who learns quickly and enjoys engaging with my people. I also have a great appetite and love treats, which makes me eager to learn new things and continue my training with my future family!
🐶 MY SOCIAL SKILLS 🐶
· With People: I'm super friendly with people and love everyone I meet! I happily accept cuddles, pets, and affection from both adults and children alike. I allow myself to be picked up and am so trusting that I'll often roll over and show my belly shortly after meeting someone new.
· With Dogs: I'm generally indifferent toward other dogs and prefer doing my own thing. While I enjoy greeting new dog friends, I'm definitely more of a people's pup and love spending time with my humans. Because I bond closely with my people, I can get a little jealous when other dogs receive attention and may show a bit of sassiness. I would do best as the only dog in the home or with a family that understands my personality and can provide a little guidance and management. More than anything, I simply want a family to love and belong to.
· With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.
⚡️ ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY ⚡️
I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring, and having fun, but once I’ve had my activity and excitement, I’m more than happy to come inside and relax comfortably indoors.
🧠 TRAINING & HABITS 🧠
I walk nicely on leash and do a great job following my handler's lead. I have good manners around people and don't guard my food, though I can be a little sensitive if other dogs come too close during mealtime. I may occasionally bark to ask for attention, but I settle down quickly afterward. I'm calm and relaxed in my kennel and am potty trained both indoors using pee pads and outdoors.
