I was rescued from a municipal shelter after being placed on the euthanasia list, giving me a second chance at life. Thanks to the kindness of the people who saved me, I've been able to leave my past behind and begin looking toward a brighter future. Now I'm excited to find a loving forever family and start the happiest chapter of my life.

💖 MY PERSONALITY 💖

Hi, I'm Toktok! I'm a sweet little bundle of love with gentle manners, a heart full of affection, and a face that's guaranteed to make you smile. I spent a long time waiting in a crowded shelter, where I became known as one of the very best dogs—not just because I'm adorable, but because of my wonderful personality.

When I was rescued, my coat was so badly matted that many people thought it would have to be completely shaved. But one incredibly kind volunteer spent five hours patiently brushing through every tangle instead. I quietly accepted every minute of it, showing just how gentle, trusting, and cooperative I am. Thanks to all that love and care, my beautiful coat—and my confidence—were given a fresh start.

I also absolutely adore people and love sharing my affectionate side with everyone I meet. I'm polite, gentle, and easy to have around the house. I also get along well with other dogs, although very large dogs can feel a little intimidating at first.

If you're looking for a kind-hearted companion with impeccable manners, a gentle soul, and endless love to give, I'd be so happy to start my next chapter by your side. I waited a long time for this chance, and I can't wait to discover what forever feels like.

 

🐶 MY SOCIAL SKILLS 🐶

· With People: I absolutely love being around people! Whether we've known each other for a long time or we're meeting for the very first time, I'll happily come over to say hello, lean against you, and enjoy all the pets and affection you have to offer. Once we've become friends, I'll even roll over and show you my belly—a special sign that I trust you completely. I'm also comfortable being gently picked up when needed. I haven't had the opportunity to meet children under 13 yet, so I'm still waiting to discover what they're like.

· With Dogs: I love making new dog friends! Whether we've known each other for a long time or we're meeting for the very first time, I'm always happy to walk over, say hello, and invite them to play. I tend to get along especially well with dogs around my own size, and even if another dog tries to provoke me, I'd much rather walk away and avoid conflict, preferring peace and harmony whenever I can.

· With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown

 

⚡️ ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY ⚡️

I have moderate energy level – I have a balanced energy level and enjoy spending time outdoors, whether we're exploring or going for a nice walk together. Once I've had some exercise and fresh air, I'm happy to settle down and relax calmly.

I'm an experienced walker with excellent leash manners—I don't pull and naturally stay connected to my person, making every walk an easy and enjoyable experience.

 

🧠 TRAINING & HABITS 🧠

I'm easygoing when it comes to mealtime and don't feel the need to guard my food from either people or other dogs.

I'm generally a very quiet companion who rarely barks

I stay calm and relaxed in my kennel

I'm flexible with my potty habits and can use indoor pee pads as well as go outside for bathroom breaks. I may be tempted to mark when visiting an unfamiliar place, so a little supervision and guidance will help me learn the routine.
