🐾 MY RESCUE STORY 🐾
I was once cared for at a rural home, but when my owner moved away, I was left behind. For years, I remained tied up at the empty house, surviving thanks to the kindness of neighbors who made sure I had food. Thankfully, I was eventually rescued and given the chance to leave that lonely life behind. Now I'm looking forward to finding a loving forever family and beginning a new chapter filled with the companionship, comfort, and happiness.

Hi, I'm Hirit! I'm a beautiful, athletic girl with long legs, a bright mind, and an even bigger heart. I absolutely love people and am happiest when I'm right by your side. Whether we're relaxing at home or sleeping together, I'll happily snuggle up as close as I can—and I've even been told I make an excellent pillow!
I'm a smart girl who already knows cues like sit, down, and wait, and my recall is excellent. I adore toys, pay close attention to sounds, and learn new things quickly. Thanks to my long legs and athletic build, I can even hop into the back of an SUV all by myself when it's time for our next adventure!
Despite my size, I'm one of the gentlest dogs you'll ever meet. I have absolutely no interest in picking fights, even with dogs much smaller than me. If another dog tells me they've had enough, I don't argue—I politely back away and happily let them have their space. My easygoing personality makes me a wonderful companion for both people and respectful dog friends.
If you're looking for a loyal adventure buddy who's as affectionate as she is intelligent, I'd love nothing more than to explore the world by your side and then curl up beside you when the day is done.
🐶 MY SOCIAL SKILLS 🐶
· With People: I absolutely love being around people! Whether we've known each other for a long time or we're meeting for the very first time, I'll happily come over, lean against you, and enjoy all the pets and affection you have to offer. I may even roll over and show you my belly the very first time we meet—a special sign of how trusting and affectionate I am. I'm also comfortable being gently picked up when needed. I haven't had the opportunity to meet children under 13 yet, so I'm still waiting to discover what they're like.
· With Dogs: I love making new dog friends! Whether we've known each other for a long time or we're meeting for the very first time, I'm always happy to walk over, say hello, and invite them to play. I tend to feel most comfortable with dogs around my own size or smaller, while very large dogs can sometimes make me feel a little nervous or unsure. Even so, I'm a gentle soul who would much rather walk away than argue—if another dog tries to provoke me, I prefer to avoid conflict and keep the peace.
· With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown
⚡️ ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY ⚡️
I have high energy level – I thrive when I get plenty of exercise and outdoor adventures. After I've had the chance to burn off my energy with a good walk, hike, or play session, I'm happy to settle down and relax quietly at home.
I'm an experienced walker with excellent leash manners—I don't pull and naturally stay connected to my person, making every walk an easy and enjoyable experience.
🧠 TRAINING & HABITS 🧠
I'm easygoing when it comes to mealtime and don't feel the need to guard my food from either people or other dogs.
If there's something I really want, I may let you know with a little bark.

When it comes to bathroom breaks, I generally prefer doing my business outside during my walks.
