I was rescued from a city shelter, where I was waiting for a chance at a new beginning. Thanks to the people who stepped in for me, I was brought to safety and given the care I needed to move forward. Now, I’m ready to leave my shelter days behind and begin my next chapter with a loving forever family.

💖 MY PERSONALITY 💖

Hi, I’m Dansim! I may be small and adorable, but I have a surprisingly confident little personality packed into my tiny frame. I’m bright, attentive, and very focused when I’m learning—when someone taught me “sit,” I picked it up almost instantly! I’m the kind of clever pup who pays attention and catches on quickly, which should make continuing my training both fun and rewarding.

I’m also a social little dog who gets along and plays well with all kinds of friends. Even though I’m small, I have a determined, spirited side and don’t let my friends push me around easily. That little bit of confidence is part of my charm—I can hold my own while still enjoying being part of the fun. Toys are another big favorite of mine, and I’m always happy when there’s something fun to play with. I’m not particularly shy around new people, and I’m the type of pup who seems capable of adapting well wherever I go. My combination of confidence, curiosity, and easygoing social skills gives me a great foundation for settling into a new home.

My small size makes me an especially convenient companion to bring along, but it’s my smart, spirited personality that really makes me memorable. I’d love a family who will enjoy playing with me, keep my clever mind engaged, continue my training, and appreciate the confident little character inside this cute package. I’m ready to adapt to family life and become a fun little companion to share everyday adventures with.

 

🐶 MY SOCIAL SKILLS 🐶

· With People: I’m naturally friendly and affectionate with people, and I’m comfortable approaching both familiar faces and new people for attention. I enjoy leaning in for affection and am happy to be petted, even by someone I’ve just met. I haven’t had experience with children under 13 yet, so my comfort level with younger kids is still unknown.

· With Dogs: I’m comfortable approaching unfamiliar dogs to say hello, but I generally prefer a friendly greeting rather than engaging in play.

· With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown

I have a moderate energy level – I enjoy spending time outdoors, but I’m also happy to settle down and relax afterward.

I’m currently working on my leash skills and continuing to learn how to walk comfortably with my person.
