🐾 MY RESCUE STORY 🐾
I was rescued from a city shelter after being placed on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, rescuers stepped in and gave me a second chance, bringing me to safety and giving me the care I needed. Now, I’m looking forward to leaving that uncertain chapter behind and finding a loving forever family to begin my new journey with.

💖 MY PERSONALITY 💖
Hi, I’m Taekwon! I’m an incredibly cute, bright little pup with a determined personality and plenty of youthful spirit. I love being part of the action with my siblings, and I’m always ready to run around and play with my dog friends. I may try my best not to back down when we’re competing with each other, but I’m not exactly the toughest one in the group—my confidence is sometimes a little bigger than my ability to win!
As much as I enjoy playing with other dogs, people have a special place in my heart. Call my name while I’m busy with my friends and I’ll come racing toward you like a little rocket. That enthusiasm for human attention is one of my most lovable qualities, and it’s clear that spending time with people is every bit as exciting to me as puppy playtime.
I’m also a very clever boy, especially when food is involved. I have an excellent appetite and learned “sit” in just a minute! My combination of intelligence and food motivation gives me a wonderful foundation for continued training. With consistent guidance and plenty of positive reinforcement, I should have lots of opportunities to put that quick little brain to work.
I’ll bring playful puppy energy, a little competitive determination, an impressive enthusiasm for snacks, and a whole lot of excitement whenever my favorite people call me over. Give me continued training, structure, and plenty of affection, and I’ll be very happy growing into a wonderful companion right alongside you.
🐶 MY SOCIAL SKILLS 🐶
· With People: I can be a little shy when I first meet someone, but treats help me warm up quickly, and it usually doesn’t take long before I’m comfortable being petted. Once I start feeling at ease, my trusting side comes out—I may even show my belly to someone I’ve just met! I’m also comfortable being gently picked up with an arm supporting me under my belly. I haven’t had experience with children under 13 yet, so my comfort level with younger kids is still unknown.
· With Dogs: I’m comfortable approaching unfamiliar dogs to say hello, especially dogs around my own size, but I generally don’t show much interest in interacting or playing with dogs I don’t know. With dogs I’m already comfortable with, though, I can be more playful—I get along well and enjoy playing with my siblings!
· With Cats: I’ve lived in the same home with a cat for about two months, so I’m familiar and comfortable with having a cat companion around.
⚡️ ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY ⚡️
I have a moderate energy level – I enjoy spending time outdoors, but I’m also happy to settle down and relax afterward.
I’m still working on my leash skills, and I especially love taking in all the interesting smells along the way, so my walks often include plenty of stops for sniffing and exploring.
🧠 TRAINING & HABITS 🧠
I’m comfortable with people around my food and don’t show any food guarding toward them, but I may growl if another dog approaches while I’m eating, so giving me my own space at mealtimes is best.
I rarely bark
I settle calmly in a kennel.
I’m comfortable using both indoor pee pads and going potty outdoors.
🏡 MY IDEAL HOME 🏡
I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with:
