💖 MY PERSONALITY 💖

I was rescued from a neglectful situation where I had been purchased to chase and hunt wild boars in an area where they were frequently seen. Instead of being treated as a beloved companion, I spent my days tied up outside without even a proper dog house to keep me safe and comfortable.

Thankfully, that life is behind me now. I was rescued and given the chance to finally experience the care, security, and kindness every dog deserves. Despite everything I went through, I’m a sweet and gentle girl who is learning that life can be about so much more than simply surviving. Now I’m ready for a home where I’ll never be left tied up or treated like a tool again, but cherished as a true member of the family.

 

🐶 MY SOCIAL SKILLS 🐶

· With People: I’m super friendly with people and love making new friends! I happily greet new people and am always excited to receive plenty of pets, attention, and affection. I’m comfortable being close to people and happily allow myself to be picked up and held.

Despite everything I experienced in my past, I haven’t lost my trust in people. I have such a sweet and affectionate nature, and I’m always happy to soak up the love and kindness that comes my way.

· With Dogs: I like greeting new dogs and am happy to make new canine friends, but I don’t usually jump straight into play. I prefer taking things at my own pace and am often perfectly content doing my own thing.

I generally get along best with dogs around my own size and appreciate canine friends who are calm and respectful. High energy or overly playful dogs can sometimes feel a little overwhelming for me, so I’m happiest around dogs who understand my boundaries and are comfortable enjoying a more relaxed friendship.

· With Cats: My reaction to cats is currently unknown, but a cat test can be arranged upon request to help ensure the best match for my future home. During walks, I sometimes notice cats and watch them with curiosity, but I quickly lose interest and happily continue on my way.

 

⚡️ ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY ⚡️

I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring, and having fun, but once I’ve had my activity and excitement, I’m more than happy to come inside and relax comfortably indoors.

 

🧠 TRAINING & HABITS 🧠

I’m still learning my leash manners and can pull at times, especially at the beginning of a walk when I’m excited to finally get out and explore. After spending most of my life tied to a short chain, there’s so much of the world I’m eager to discover! Once I’ve had a chance to walk and settle into my surroundings, I calm down and follow my handler’s lead nicely. I still have plenty of puppy like curiosity and love sniffing, exploring, and taking in everything around me.

I’m generally a quiet girl who rarely barks and already know how to settle and rest calmly in my kennel. For potty habits, I currently go both indoors using pee pads and outdoors, although I’m showing a preference for doing my business outside.

I also love playing with toys and am a very smart girl who picks up new commands quickly. I enjoy following the volunteers and staff around and naturally want to stay close to the people I trust. With my forever family, I know I’ll form a strong bond and grow into an incredibly loyal companion. After spending so much of my life tied up with such a limited world around me, I’m ready to discover everything life has to offer alongside a family of my own.

I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with:

• A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment

• A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout

I’m a sweet, smart, and loyal girl who is finally getting the chance to discover how exciting life can be. After spending most of my life tied to a short chain without even a proper dog house, having the freedom to explore, play, and simply be a dog is still something very special to me. That’s why I can get extra excited at the beginning of my walks. There’s just so much to see! Once I’ve had a chance to settle in, I calm down and follow my handler’s lead nicely.

I still have so much puppy like curiosity in me. I love playing with toys, exploring my surroundings, and learning new things. I’m also incredibly smart and pick up new commands very quickly. I love following the volunteers and staff around, and the more comfortable I become with someone, the more my affectionate and loyal nature shines through.

Considering the life I came from, everyone is amazed by how friendly and trusting I remain. I’m ready for a family who will give me the experiences I missed out on and show me what it feels like to be cherished as a true companion. In return, I know I’ll form a deep bond with my people and become an incredibly devoted and loyal best friend.
