🐾 MY RESCUE STORY 🐾

I was rescued from a city pound where I had sadly been placed on the euthanasia list due to a lack of space. With limited time and an uncertain future ahead of me, I desperately needed someone to give me a second chance. Thankfully, rescuers stepped in before it was too late and brought me to safety.

Despite everything I went through, I came out of my crate for the very first time with a wagging tail, happily making my rounds to say hello to everyone. Somehow, my difficult past never dulled my bright and loving spirit.

Those uncertain days are behind me now. I’ve been given my second chance at life, and all I’m missing is a forever family to share it with.

💖 MY PERSONALITY 💖

My goofy smile is guaranteed to make you laugh! With my fluffy fur, slightly oversized head, bright expressive eyes, and big happy smile, volunteers and staff say I’m absolutely adorable. But I’m not just a handsome boy. My personality is every bit as lovable as my looks!

I may seem slightly shy when we first meet, but give me about 30 seconds and you’ll quickly realize I’m actually a total sweetheart. Once I’m comfortable, I love following the volunteers and staff around looking for pets, affection, and any opportunity to spend time together.

I’m also incredibly friendly with my dog friends and have such a gentle, easygoing nature. Even if another dog sneaks a treat away from me, I don’t make a big deal about it. I simply move on with my day and keep being my happy self.

Between my silly smile, sweet temperament, and affectionate personality, I have a special way of making everyone around me smile too. Whoever gets to call me family is going to be very lucky because I have so much happiness and love to bring into my forever home.

🐶 MY SOCIAL SKILLS 🐶

· With People: I can be a little shy when we first meet, but it doesn’t take me long to warm up! Once I realize you’re a friend, my affectionate personality quickly comes shining through, and I’ll happily follow you around looking for pets, treats, and attention.

I tend to feel slightly more comfortable around women at first, but I’m not afraid of men and can warm up nicely to them too. Once I’m feeling safe and relaxed, I’ll roll over to show you my belly and happily soak up all the affection you have to give. I’m also comfortable being gently picked up and held.

Give me just a little time to get to know you, and you’ll quickly discover a sweet, loving girl who simply wants to be close to her people.

· With Dogs: I’m a super friendly boy who loves meeting new dogs and making new canine friends! I have an easygoing, gentle personality and get along well with the dogs around me.

Even when another dog is being a little pushy or rude, I don’t let it bother me. I’d much rather simply walk away from the drama and continue enjoying my day. I’m good at keeping the peace and don’t feel the need to make a big deal out of things.

With my social and adaptable nature, I could settle in beautifully with a family who already has a dog sibling, but I’d also be perfectly happy as the only dog in the home. As long as I have a loving family to call my own, I’ll be happy.

· With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown.

⚡️ ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY ⚡️

I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring, and having fun, but once I’ve had my activity and excitement, I’m more than happy to come inside and relax comfortably indoors.

🧠 TRAINING & HABITS 🧠

I’m still learning my leash manners and improving day by day! I can pull quite a bit when I have a particular direction in mind, but overall I follow my handler’s lead well. With continued practice, patience, and positive guidance, I’m sure my leash skills will continue to improve.

I have great manners around food and don’t guard my meals or treats from either people or other dogs. I’m also a super quiet boy who rarely barks, making me a peaceful companion to have around.

For potty habits, I currently pee and poop both indoors using pee pads and outdoors. With a consistent routine in my forever home, I should continue making great progress with my potty habits.

🏡 MY IDEAL HOME 🏡

I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with:

• A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment

• A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout

• A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together

• A family that will love and cherish me forever

💌 SPECIAL NOTES 💌

Once I’m comfortable, I’ll happily follow you around looking for pets, treats, and affection. With my fluffy fur, slightly big head, bright expressive eyes, and goofy smile, I have a special way of making everyone around me laugh and smile.

My forever family is going to be very lucky to have me. I have so much sweetness, affection, and happiness to share, and I’m ready to brighten their days with my goofy smile for many years to come.
