🐾 MY RESCUE STORY 🐾

I was rescued from a crowded city pound where I had been placed on the euthanasia list simply because there was no longer enough space. My future was uncertain, but thankfully, rescuers found me in time and brought me to safety.

Those scary days are behind me now, and I’ve been given a second chance to find the loving forever family I’ve been waiting for.

💖 MY PERSONALITY 💖

I arrived at the city pound when I was just a tiny baby after being born on the streets. I was struggling with several skin issues at the time, but thankfully, those difficult early days are now behind me.

As I’ve grown, I’ve turned into quite the little model! I have a long, slender build that gets plenty of compliments from the volunteers and staff.

I also get along wonderfully with my dog friends and enjoy having them around. With people, I can take a little time to feel comfortable, but once I trust you, I love following you around and staying close by your side.

 

🐶 MY SOCIAL SKILLS 🐶

· With People: I can be a little shy when we first meet, but tasty treats are a great way to help me feel more comfortable. Give me a little time and I’ll start accepting pets and showing you my sweet side.

Once I feel safe and trust you, I’m comfortable being picked up and may even roll over to show you my belly for some extra love and affection!

· With Dogs: I love greeting new dogs and making new friends! I have a gentle, peaceful nature, and even when another dog is being pushy or rude, I prefer to avoid conflict and keep the peace.

· With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown.

 

⚡️ ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY ⚡️

I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring, and having fun, but once I’ve had my activity and excitement, I’m more than happy to come inside and relax comfortably indoors.

 

🧠 TRAINING & HABITS 🧠

I’m still learning my leash manners and making great progress every day. With continued practice and gentle guidance, I’m sure I’ll keep improving!

I’m a quiet pup who rarely barks and already know how to settle down and rest calmly in my kennel. I also have great manners around food and don’t guard my meals or treats from either people or other dogs.

For potty habits, I currently go both indoors using pee pads and outdoors.

I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with:

• A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment

• A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout

• A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together

• A family that will love and cherish me forever

• Understanding that I’m still a young pup and will need continued guidance and training

I may be a little shy when we first meet, but don’t let that fool you! Just give me about a day to settle in, observe my surroundings, and realize that I’m safe, and I’ll start warming up in no time.

Once I feel comfortable, my sweet and affectionate personality begins to shine. I’ll start following you around, seeking out pets, and showing you just how loving I can be. A little patience in the beginning is all I need to become your loyal little companion.
