My foster experience has truly brought out the very best in me, and I’m now ready to find a forever family of my own.

💖 MY PERSONALITY 💖

Hi, I’m KungFu!
When I was first rescued, I was described as a fairly high-energy dog. But since moving into a foster home, I’ve changed beautifully.
Living in a stable home with consistent routines, affection, and regular interaction with people has helped me become much calmer, gentler, and more balanced.
I’ve developed a wonderful connection with my foster family and really enjoy being part of everyday family life. I pay close attention to my people, respond well to guidance, and have become very easy to communicate with.
I’m affectionate and loving, but I also know how to relax and enjoy quiet time at home. My foster family has seen just how sweet and gentle I truly am.
One of my best qualities is how well I do with people of all ages. I’m especially gentle with children and enjoy spending time with them.
I also do very well with other dogs, including small dogs. I’m respectful, gentle, and comfortable sharing my space with canine friends.
Foster life has helped me blossom into a calm, affectionate, and emotionally connected family dog.

🐶 MY SOCIAL SKILLS 🐶

· With People:
I absolutely love people and form strong bonds with my family.
I’m affectionate, gentle, and very attentive to the people around me. Living in a foster home has helped me understand household routines and become much more comfortable communicating and interacting with my humans.
I also do very well with children and have shown myself to be calm, sweet, and gentle around them.
· With Dogs:
I’m friendly and well-mannered with other dogs.
I’ve become especially gentle in my interactions and do very well even with smaller dogs. I’m respectful of their space and can live comfortably alongside canine friends.
· With Cats:
My reaction to cats is currently unknown.

⚡️ ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY ⚡️

I was previously described as a high-energy dog, but foster life has helped me become much calmer and more balanced.
I still enjoy walks, outdoor activities, exploring, and playtime, but I also know how to settle down and relax peacefully at home.
I don’t need constant activity to be happy. A good walk, some outdoor time, and plenty of quality time with my family are enough to keep me content.
I also have plenty of walking experience and generally walk nicely on leash while staying close to my person.

🧠 TRAINING & HABITS 🧠

Living with a foster family has helped me become very comfortable with everyday home life.
I understand household routines well, listen closely to my humans, and respond nicely to direction.
I already know several cues, including:
Sit
Paw
Wait
Catching treats when they are tossed to me
I’m mostly used to going potty outside.
I settle nicely in a kennel when needed and can get in and out of the car on my own.
I don’t guard my food from people. As with any multi-dog household, feeding dogs separately is always a good habit.

🏡 MY IDEAL HOME 🏡

My foster experience has shown that I truly thrive when I feel safe, loved, and included in family life.
I would do especially well with:
A loving family looking for a gentle and affectionate companion
A home where I can be included in everyday family activities
A family with children
A home with another friendly dog, including a smaller dog
People who enjoy walks and outdoor activities
A family that also enjoys quiet and relaxing time together
People who will continue giving me consistency, affection, and guidance
I’ve already learned how wonderful family life can be, and now I’m ready to bring my gentle, loving personality into my forever home.

💌 SPECIAL NOTES 💌

KungFu has made a wonderful transition into foster family life.
Although he was originally described as a higher-energy dog, living in a stable home environment has helped him become significantly calmer, gentler, and more emotionally connected with people.
He now does beautifully with adults, children, and other dogs, including small dogs.
His foster experience has shown that KungFu truly flourishes when he has a stable routine, loving human companionship, and the opportunity to be part of everyday family life.
He is a sweet, gentle, affectionate dog who is ready to become a devoted member of his forever family.

If you enjoy hiking, long walks, or spending time outdoors, I could be the perfect adventure buddy for you. I have the energy to keep up with an active lifestyle, but thanks to my foster home experience, I’ve also learned how to settle nicely and enjoy quiet time at home.
