🏡 MY RESCUE STORY 🏡
My story began in Taean, where my mom gave birth to me and my siblings.
Sadly, instead of having a safe place to grow up together, we were each tied up separately near a mountainside and left there. We were at risk of being sold off to anyone who would take us, without knowing what kind of future was waiting for us.
Thankfully, we were rescued and given a second chance.
Now I’m safe and slowly learning just how nice it can be to have people care for me. I’m still building my confidence, but underneath my initial shyness is an incredibly sweet little girl who loves affection.
All I need now is a patient family who will give me the time and love I need to truly blossom. 🤎

💖 MY PERSONALITY 💖
Hi, I’m Mallow!
I’m a gentle, quiet, and affectionate little girl with a wonderfully calm personality for such a young puppy.
I can be shy when I first meet someone, so you may not see my whole personality right away. But there’s one very easy way to become my friend: treats! I’m quite food motivated, and a few yummy snacks can help me realize pretty quickly that you might be someone worth getting to know.
Once I feel comfortable, my affectionate side begins to shine. I love being held and enjoy gentle pets so much that I’ll roll onto my back, show you my belly, and sometimes simply fall asleep while you’re petting me.
I also have a funny little preference for cozy, elevated spots. If there’s a cushion or chair available, there’s a good chance you’ll find me happily perched there.
I may take a little time to trust you, but once I do, I’m a soft, cuddly little girl who simply loves feeling safe beside her people.
🐶 MY SOCIAL SKILLS 🐶
· With People: I can be shy with unfamiliar people at first, but I’m very food motivated and tend to warm up quickly with treats and gentle interactions. Once I trust you, I enjoy being touched, held, and cuddled. I’ll even roll over for belly rubs when I’m comfortable!
· With Children: I haven’t had experience with children under 13 yet, so we don’t know exactly how I would interact with younger kids. Calm, gentle, and supervised introductions would be important.
· With Dogs: I’m polite around other dogs but fairly independent. I may approach an unfamiliar dog to say hello, but I usually don’t try to continue into play and generally show little interest in other dogs. If another dog becomes pushy or confrontational, I prefer to move away rather than engage.
· With Cats: I haven’t had enough experience around cats yet for us to know how I would behave living with one. A slow and supervised introduction would be important.
⚡ MY ENERGY LEVEL ⚡
I have a moderate energy level, but I’m naturally on the calmer side for a puppy.
I enjoy outdoor activities, exploring, and getting some exercise, but once I’m finished, I’m perfectly happy to settle down and relax.
I don’t need to be busy every second of the day. Give me a comfortable place to curl up—and maybe some gentle pets—and I’m pretty content.
Since I’m only seven months old, my personality and activity needs may continue to develop as I grow.
🦮 MY WALKING SKILLS 🦮
I’m currently learning how to walk nicely on a leash.
I may pull sometimes, but overall, I follow my person well. There are still lots of new sights, sounds, and smells for me to experience, so I’ll benefit from continued practice and positive reinforcement.
Because I can be a little cautious in unfamiliar situations, allowing me to explore at my own pace will help me build confidence.
And since I’m so food motivated, treats can be a wonderful training tool for me!
🏠 MY HOME LIFE & MANNERS 🏠
For such a young puppy, I’m already showing some lovely qualities.
I’m generally very quiet and rarely bark, and I settle calmly when I’m in a kennel.
I currently use both indoor pee pads and outdoor potty areas. Since I’m still young, I’ll need continued consistency and guidance with my potty routine when I move into a new home.
I also show no food guarding toward people or other dogs, even though I definitely appreciate a good snack!
At home, I enjoy finding a cozy place to relax. Cushions and chairs are some of my favourite spots, and once I feel safe and comfortable, I’m very good at simply settling down.
🌱 WHAT I’M STILL LEARNING 🌱
I’m only seven months old, and I’m still building confidence in the world around me.
I can be shy when meeting new people or experiencing unfamiliar situations, so I do best when I’m given a little time rather than being rushed.
Thankfully, it usually doesn’t take too long for me to realize that someone is safe—especially when treats and gentle affection are involved!
I’m continuing to work on my leash manners, potty routine, household expectations, and confidence around new experiences.
With patience and positive reinforcement, I’ll continue learning that the world can be a safe and happy place.
🏡 MY IDEAL HOME 🏡
I’d love a home that’s willing to give me a little time to settle in and let my personality come out naturally.
I don’t need someone to push me to be outgoing right away. A patient person who lets me approach at my own pace, rewards me for being brave, and gives me plenty of gentle affection would be wonderful.
Since I’m fairly independent around other dogs, I don’t necessarily need a canine sibling to keep me entertained. If there is another dog in my future home, a calm and compatible companion with respectful introductions could potentially work well.
More than anything, I’d love a home where I can feel safe, find my favourite cozy spot, and slowly discover that I never have to worry about losing that security again.
✨ WHY YOU’LL LOVE ME ✨
I might not be the puppy who immediately runs into your arms the first time we meet. But give me a little time.
Maybe offer me a treat or two. Sit with me quietly. Give me some gentle pets.
Before long, you may find me curled up beside you, rolling over to ask for belly rubs—and eventually falling asleep because I feel completely safe in your hands.
I’m calm, gentle, quiet, and wonderfully affectionate once I trust you. I don’t ask for much; I just need a little patience before I show you how loving I can be.
My beginning taught me to be cautious.
My forever family can teach me that I’m finally safe enough to stay. 🤎
