🐾 MY RESCUE STORY 🐾
I was only two months old when I arrived at a city shelter suffering from a disease. While at the shelter, I also suffered a fractured jaw, making my early days especially challenging. Thankfully, I was rescued and brought into safe care, where I underwent surgery to repair my jaw and was given the support I needed. After everything I’ve been through at such a young age, I’m looking forward to a brighter chapter filled with love, comfort, and a forever family of my own.

💖 MY PERSONALITY 💖
Hi, I’m Lier! I’m an irresistibly adorable little dog with the kind of face that looks like it belongs in a cartoon. There’s something almost unreal about how cute I am, especially when my ears decide to do their own thing and end up pointing in different directions. Add my sweet expression and my adorable pink belly covered in little spots, and I have more than enough charm to make people fall in love at first sight! Sometimes all it takes is one look at my mismatched ears, one glimpse of my spotted pink belly, or one enthusiastic greeting to understand why everyone finds me so irresistible. I have a way of making people smile simply by being myself.
But my looks are only half the story. I have an equally wonderful personality, and I absolutely adore people. I’m not the kind of dog who needs a long introduction before deciding we should be friends. In fact, when I meet someone new, I’m perfectly happy to run straight over and jump into their arms as though we’ve known each other forever. Why waste time being shy when there are new people to love? I’m naturally affectionate, outgoing, and wonderfully comfortable around humans. Meeting someone for the first time doesn't seem like a big deal to me—it’s simply another opportunity to make a new friend. Sometimes a dog really is just that sweet, friendly, and easy to love!
If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who will greet you with excitement and make even the most ordinary days a little brighter, I might be your girl. I’m ready to bring my cartoon-worthy cuteness, my enormous love for people, and my happy little personality into a home of my own. And if you happen to fall in love with me the moment we meet, don’t worry—I’ll probably be running into your arms before you even have a chance to say hello!
🐶 MY SOCIAL SKILLS 🐶
· With People: I’m naturally friendly and affectionate with people, and I happily approach both familiar faces and new people to say hello and ask for attention. I love leaning in for affection and am comfortable being petted, even by someone I’ve just met. I’m so open and trusting that I may even roll over and show my belly to a complete stranger!
I’m also comfortable being gently picked up with an arm supporting me under my belly. I haven’t had experience with children under 13 yet, so my comfort level with younger kids is still unknown.
· With Dogs: I’m comfortable approaching unfamiliar dogs to say hello, but I generally prefer a friendly greeting rather than engaging in play. I don’t show much interest in interacting with other dogs beyond a quick hello and am usually content doing my own thing. Dogs with very high energy levels can make me feel a little overwhelmed, so I’m more comfortable around calm dog companions who respect my space. If another dog tries to provoke me, I usually choose to walk away and avoid conflict rather than engage.
· With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown
⚡️ ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY ⚡️
I have a moderate energy level – I enjoy spending time outdoors, but I’m also happy to settle down and relax afterward.
I’m still working on my leash skills and getting used to going on walks. With continued practice, patience, and consistent guidance, I can gradually become more comfortable and confident on my walks.
🧠 TRAINING & HABITS 🧠
I don’t guard my food around people or other dogs.
I may whine when I’m in a kennel, but with continued positive kennel training, patience, and a consistent routine, I can gradually learn to feel more comfortable and settle on my own.
I’m comfortable using both indoor pee pads and going potty outdoors.
🏡 MY IDEAL HOME 🏡
I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with:
