I was rescued from a city shelter, where I had been placed at risk of euthanasia. Thankfully, rescuers stepped in and brought me to safety, giving me a second chance and the opportunity to experience kindness and care. Now, I’m leaving that uncertain chapter behind and looking forward to a brighter future with a loving forever family to call my own.

Hi, I’m Bari! I’m a tiny, irresistibly adorable little dog with a personality that makes people fall in love almost instantly. My small size and sweet expression are enough to bring a smile to anyone’s face, but what really makes me special is just how much I adore people. If there’s a human nearby, chances are that’s exactly where I want to be! I’m incredibly affectionate and have absolutely no problem making new friends. Even if we’ve only just met, I may happily roll onto my back and show you my belly, inviting you to give me some love. And if those belly rubs are especially good, don’t be surprised if I get so comfortable that I start drifting off to sleep right there! Apparently, I have a talent for turning a first introduction into a very cozy cuddle session.
What makes me especially charming is how effortlessly I connect with people. I don’t need elaborate games or exciting adventures to enjoy myself. Sometimes, all I really want is someone willing to sit beside me, offer a gentle hand, and let me enjoy a few peaceful moments of affection. I may be small, but I have an enormous amount of love to share.
I’d be a wonderful match for someone looking for a sweet, affectionate little companion who genuinely enjoys human company. Whether I’m showing off my adorable belly, relaxing under your gentle touch, or simply making you smile with my tiny appearance, I have a feeling I’ll find plenty of ways to brighten your day. 🐶 MY SOCIAL SKILLS 🐶
· With People: I’m naturally friendly and affectionate with people, and I happily approach both familiar faces and new people to say hello and ask for attention. I love leaning in for affection and am comfortable being petted, even by someone I’ve just met. I’m so open and trusting that I may even roll over and show my belly to a complete stranger! I’m also comfortable being gently picked up with an arm supporting me under my belly. I haven’t had experience with children under 13 yet, so my comfort level with younger kids is still unknown.
· With Dogs: I’m friendly and social with other dogs, and I love approaching both familiar and new friends to say hello and invite them to play. I have a gentle, easygoing approach to socializing, and even if another dog tries to provoke me, I usually prefer to walk away and avoid conflict rather than engage.
· With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown

I have a moderate energy level – I enjoy spending time outdoors, but I’m also happy to settle down and relax afterward.
I’m still working on my leash skills and getting used to going on walks. With continued practice, patience, and consistent guidance, I can gradually become more comfortable and confident on my walks.
