🐾 MY RESCUE STORY 🐾
I was rescued from a city shelter after being placed on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, rescuers stepped in and brought me to safety, giving me a second chance and the opportunity to experience kindness and care. Now, I’m leaving that uncertain chapter behind and looking forward to a brighter future filled with love, companionship, and a forever family to call my own.

💖 MY PERSONALITY 💖
Hi, I’m Aromi! I’m a beautiful young girl with a one-of-a-kind coat and a personality that’s every bit as lovely as my appearance. My mostly white fur is covered in gorgeous dark spots, giving me a look that reminds people of cookies and cream! My markings are so distinctive that I tend to catch people’s attention right away, but everyone says I’m even prettier in person. And once you get to know me, you’ll discover there’s much more to love than my adorable looks!
I have a naturally sociable personality and don't need much convincing to make a new friend. I’m perfectly happy climbing onto the lap of someone I’ve only just met and settling in as though we’ve known each other forever. While I enjoy meeting strangers, the people I see regularly hold an especially important place in my heart. The more familiar you become, the more excited I am to see you! I actually seem to prefer human companionship over spending time with dog friends. I enjoy being around people and paying attention to what they’re doing, especially when there might be a tasty treat involved! I’m very food-motivated, which makes interacting with me particularly fun and gives my future family a wonderful opportunity to build on my training.
Speaking of training, I’m one clever little girl! My rescuers were impressed by how quickly I picked up new commands, including “sit” and “spin.” I have excellent focus for a puppy and seem to genuinely enjoy figuring out what people are asking me to do. Even more surprisingly, I have a fairly calm temperament for my age.
I’d love a family who appreciates both my gentle nature and my bright little mind. Someone who enjoys teaching me new things, sharing everyday adventures, and giving me the experiences I missed while growing up in a shelter would be wonderful. I may have spent my puppyhood waiting for my chance, but I have so much life ahead of me. With my beautiful spotted coat, calm confidence, and eagerness to learn, I’m ready to become someone’s very special girl—and finally discover what it means to grow up as part of a family.
🐶 MY SOCIAL SKILLS 🐶
· With People: I can be a little shy when I first meet someone, but tasty treats are a great way to win me over! I’m happy to accept treats, and it usually doesn’t take long before I warm up and feel comfortable being petted. Once I get to know and trust you, my affectionate side comes out—I may even roll over and show you my belly! I’m also comfortable being gently picked up with an arm supporting me under my belly. I haven’t had experience with children under 13 yet, so my comfort level with younger kids is still unknown.
· With Dogs: I’m friendly and social with other dogs, and I enjoy approaching both familiar and new dogs to say hello and invite them to play. If another dog tries to provoke me, I usually choose to walk away and avoid conflict rather than engage.
· With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown
⚡️ ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY ⚡️
I have a moderate energy level – I enjoy spending time outdoors, but I’m also happy to settle down and relax afterward.
I may pull on the leash at times, but overall, I follow my person well and respond to their guidance on walks. With continued practice and consistent guidance, I can keep improving my leash manners.
🧠 TRAINING & HABITS 🧠
I don’t guard my food around people or other dogs.
When there’s something I really want, I may use a little barking to let you know, but with consistent guidance and positive training, I can continue learning calmer ways to communicate.
I’m calm and settled when I’m in a kennel
I’m comfortable using both indoor pee pads and going potty outdoors.
🏡 MY IDEAL HOME 🏡
