🏡 MY RESCUE STORY 🏡
My story began at the Jeongeup City Shelter in South Korea, where I found myself on the euthanasia list before I had even celebrated my first birthday.
At just a few months old, my future was already uncertain. I was still a young puppy with so much life ahead of me, but without someone stepping in, I might never have had the chance to experience the love and happiness every dog deserves.
Thankfully, Be My Dog rescued me just in time, along with my siblings, Baechu, Yeolmu, Hobak, and Gamja.
Because of their kindness, we were given a second chance at life and the opportunity to grow up somewhere safe.
Since my rescue, I've been showing everyone what a wonderful little girl I am. I may need a moment to adjust to unfamiliar surroundings, but once I feel comfortable, my affectionate and playful personality shines through.
Now I'm ready for the next chapter of my story—one filled with adventures, delicious treats, warm cuddles, and a family I can finally call my own. 🤎

💖 MY PERSONALITY 💖
Hi, I'm Dangam!
I'm a sweet, affectionate, and incredibly lovable little girl with a personality that seems to win over just about everyone I meet.
My rescuers say that among all my siblings, I have one of the most wonderful personalities. I'm friendly, gentle, and full of affection, with just the right amount of playful puppy charm.
When I first arrive somewhere unfamiliar, I might seem a little cautious or unsure of myself. Sometimes I need a moment to look around and figure out what's happening before I feel completely comfortable.
But don't let that fool you!
Once I realize everything is safe, I quickly become a happy, affectionate little companion who loves being around people.
I'm especially fond of attention and have no problem being gently picked up and held, even by someone I've only recently met. My rescuers describe me as an exceptionally sweet and easygoing little Jindo girl.
And did I mention that I absolutely love treats?
Food is definitely one of my favourite things in the world! I'm very food motivated, which makes me a promising little student when it comes to learning new skills.
Between my adorable petite size, affectionate personality, and gentle nature, I have a way of making people fall in love with me before they even realize it.
🐶 MY SOCIAL SKILLS 🐶
· With People: I'm naturally friendly and affectionate with people, including strangers. I happily approach people for attention, enjoy being petted, and am comfortable being gently picked up and held. While I may be slightly cautious in unfamiliar environments, I tend to adjust quickly and become very affectionate once I feel safe.
· With Children: I haven't had experience with children under 13 yet, so we don't know exactly how I would interact with younger kids. Gentle and supervised introductions would be best.
· With Dogs: I'm a friendly and sociable girl who enjoys meeting other dogs. I approach both familiar and unfamiliar dogs to say hello and invite them to play. I generally interact politely with my canine friends and seem especially comfortable around dogs that are larger than me.
· With Cats: I haven't had enough experience around cats yet for us to know how I would behave living with one. Slow and supervised introductions would be important if my future family has a cat.
⚡ MY ENERGY LEVEL ⚡
I have a moderate energy level and enjoy a healthy balance of activity and relaxation.
I love spending time outdoors, exploring new places, and having opportunities to play and socialize.
But once I've had enough activity, I'm also happy to settle down and rest.
I'm still only ten months old, so I naturally have some puppy energy and curiosity. My personality and exercise needs may continue to develop as I grow.
I would love a family who enjoys regular walks, playtime, and spending quality time together.
🦮 MY WALKING SKILLS 🦮
Good news! I'm already quite experienced when it comes to walking on a leash.
I generally walk nicely without pulling and follow my person well, making walks together a pleasant experience.
Of course, moving into a new home will mean adjusting to unfamiliar streets, sounds, and surroundings, so I'll still appreciate patience and reassurance as I get used to my new environment.
But I already have a wonderful foundation, and I'm excited to explore the world with my future family!
🏠 MY HOME LIFE & MANNERS 🏠
For a young puppy, I'm already showing some lovely qualities that could help me adjust to family life.
I settle calmly when placed in a kennel, and I currently use both indoor pee pads and outdoor potty areas.
I also show no food guarding toward people or other dogs, even though I'm a huge fan of treats!
One thing my future family should know is that I sometimes use my voice when I want something. I may bark to communicate a request, so continued positive training will help me learn other ways to express myself.
There's also one activity I'm not particularly fond of: bath time.
I really don't enjoy being bathed and may wiggle or struggle to get away when someone tries to wash me. However, even when I'm uncomfortable, I haven't shown any biting behavior during handling.
My future family should help me become more comfortable with bathing through gradual, gentle, reward-based practice rather than forcing me through it.
With a little patience, consistency, and plenty of treats, I can continue developing good household manners and learning the routines of my new home.
🌱 WHAT I'M STILL LEARNING 🌱
Even though I'm already a friendly and well-socialized little girl, I'm still young and have plenty of growing and learning ahead of me.
One thing I'm continuing to work on is building confidence in unfamiliar environments.
I can be slightly hesitant when I first arrive somewhere new, but I usually adjust fairly quickly once I have time to explore and understand my surroundings.
I'm also learning that bath time doesn't have to be something scary or uncomfortable. Gentle introductions, positive reinforcement, and patience will help me build a more positive association with grooming.
Since I absolutely love food, treats can be a wonderful tool for teaching me new skills, reinforcing good behavior, and helping me feel confident.
I already walk nicely on a leash, enjoy meeting people and dogs, and respond well to affection.
With the right guidance, I have so much potential to grow into an even more confident and wonderful companion.
🏡 MY IDEAL HOME 🏡
I could potentially thrive in many different types of homes, especially with a family who appreciates an affectionate, friendly, and playful companion.
I'd love people who enjoy spending time with their dog, whether that means going on walks, exploring new places, practicing training together, or simply relaxing at home.
Because I'm social with other dogs, I could potentially enjoy living with a compatible canine sibling, provided introductions are thoughtful and everyone gets along comfortably.
My future family should understand that I may need a little time to settle into unfamiliar surroundings. Although I'm naturally friendly, giving me space to adjust at my own pace will help me feel secure.
I'd also appreciate someone willing to continue my training and help me become more comfortable with grooming and bath time.
Most importantly, I want a family who will see me not just as an adorable little puppy, but as a lifelong companion who deserves love, patience, and understanding.
✨ WHY YOU'LL LOVE ME ✨
There's something incredibly special about Dangam.
Maybe it's her petite little Jindo appearance, her sweet expression, or the way she approaches people with such genuine affection.
Or maybe it's the fact that, even after being rescued from a shelter where her future was uncertain, she's grown into such a wonderfully loving and trusting little girl.
My rescuers say I'm one of the sweetest among my siblings.
I love people, enjoy making new canine friends, and have a gentle personality that makes me easy to adore.
I might need a little moment to feel comfortable in a new place, but once I do, you'll discover a cheerful, affectionate puppy who's more than happy to stay close and share her love.
And if you happen to have treats?
Well, we might just become best friends even faster!
I'm still young, and there's an entire lifetime of experiences waiting for me.
I want to discover new places, learn new things, make wonderful memories, and grow up knowing that I have a family who will always be there for me.
I was once a little puppy whose future was almost taken away before it had truly begun.
But now I have a second chance.
All I'm missing is someone who will turn that second chance into a lifetime of love. 🤎
