🐾 MY RESCUE STORY 🐾

I was rescued from a city pound, where I had sadly been placed on the euthanasia list due to overcrowding and the belief that I was an older dog. With limited space and so many dogs in need, my future was looking uncertain.

But thankfully, kindhearted rescuers stepped in and gave me a second chance at life! And here's the surprising part: once I was rescued, everyone discovered that I wasn't an older dog at all. I was actually just a young puppy with my whole life ahead of me!

I'm so grateful that someone saw me as a life worth saving. Now that I'm safe, I finally have the opportunity to grow, explore the world, and experience all the wonderful things that come with being a puppy.

💖 MY PERSONALITY 💖

I'm a beautiful, social, and intelligent young girl with a wonderful personality! I'm a quick learner who already knows how to "sit" and "wait," and I'm always eager to learn more. I'm very food-motivated, so tasty treats are a great way to keep me focused and excited during training!

Despite being a young pup, I have a surprisingly calm and easygoing personality. I absolutely love people and happily make friends with everyone I meet! During my profile photoshoot, I became so comfortable around the volunteers that I eventually got tired, lay down on my side, and took a little nap. That's how relaxed I can be, even around people I've just met!

I'm also a curious girl with a little adventurous streak! There's so much of the world I haven't explored yet, and sometimes my curiosity gets the better of me. I've even tried jumping over barriers at the care facility to see what's on the other side! My future family will need to keep a close eye on me and make sure outdoor spaces are secure.

I'm a sweet, clever, and curious young pup who's ready to discover the world with a loving family by my side. With plenty of adventures, affection, and opportunities to learn, I know I'll make a wonderful companion!

🐶 MY SOCIAL SKILLS 🐶

· With People: I'm a super friendly and affectionate girl who loves meeting new people! I'm always happy to say hello and soak up all the pets and attention you're willing to give me.

In fact, I might even roll over and show you my belly the very first time we meet! It's my adorable way of welcoming you and asking for some belly rubs.

I'm also comfortable being picked up and held, and I genuinely enjoy being close to people. With my sweet, outgoing personality and love for affection, I'm always ready to make a new friend!

· With Dogs: I'm friendly with other dogs and enjoy saying hello to new doggy friends! However, I'm not particularly interested in playing or socializing for too long. After a quick greeting, I'm usually happy to wander off and do my own thing.

I'm definitely more of a people's pup! While I don't mind being around other dogs, I much prefer spending time with my favourite humans, soaking up pets, cuddles, and attention. I'm perfectly content enjoying the company of other dogs from a little distance while focusing on my human friends!

· With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown.

⚡️ ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY ⚡️

I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring, and having fun, but once I’ve had my activity and excitement, I’m more than happy to come inside and relax comfortably indoors.

🧠 TRAINING & HABITS 🧠

I'm still learning my leash manners, but I'm a quick learner who pays close attention to my handler! With a little practice and guidance, I'm making progress toward becoming a wonderful walking companion.

I'm also a good girl when it comes to mealtime and don't show any food guarding behaviours around people or other dogs. I can be a little vocal when I'm looking for attention, and I'm still learning how to settle down and relax calmly in my kennel.

As for potty habits, I'm comfortable going both outdoors and indoors on pee pads. I'm a smart young pup with lots of potential, and with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, I'm excited to keep learning and developing good habits with my forever family!

🏡 MY IDEAL HOME 🏡

I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with:

• A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment

• A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout

• A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together

• A family that will love and cherish me forever

• Understanding I’m a young pup and will need continued guidance and training

💌 SPECIAL NOTES 💌

Volunteers and staff always have the sweetest things to say about me! They often mention how lucky my future family will be to have me, and how much love and happiness I'll bring into their lives. With my friendly personality, intelligence, and affectionate nature, I have so much potential to become a wonderful family companion!

One little thing that makes me unique is that one of my paws grew slightly crooked, possibly due to spending an important part of my growing years in the shelter. It's a small part of my story and something that makes me special!

I've spent so much of my young life waiting for my chance at a forever home, and I can't wait to finally experience what it means to be a cherished member of a family. I have so much love to give, and I'm ready to share it with someone who will love me just as much in return!
