🐾 MY RESCUE STORY 🐾
I was rescued from a city pound, where I had been placed on the euthanasia list due to overcrowding. Despite being just a young puppy with my whole life ahead of me, my future was uncertain.
I was briefly adopted, but sadly, things didn't work out. Shortly after bringing me home, my previous owner let me off leash, and feeling scared in an unfamiliar environment, I hid in a bush. Instead of giving me time to adjust, my owner gave up on me, and I was returned to the pound.
Thankfully, I was given another chance! I'm now safe at a care facility, receiving the love and care I need while waiting for my forever family.
I'm still young and learning about the world. All I need is a patient, understanding family who will give me time to feel safe and loved. I've had a few difficult beginnings, but I'm hopeful that my next chapter will be filled with happiness, adventures, and a home to call my own forever!

I have a few adorable little features that make me extra special! I'm slightly cross-eyed, which gives me the cutest, most endearing expression. The volunteers and staff always say I'm even more adorable in person!
They also love to joke that I act just like a little cat! I guess I have a few funny quirks that make my personality even more charming.
And here's another cute detail about me: my paw pads and tummy are pink with little black spots! It's such a unique and adorable combination.
Between my slightly crossed eyes, spotted little tummy, and cat-like personality, I have plenty of charm packed into one little pup. I can't wait for my forever family to discover all the little things that make me special!
🐶 MY SOCIAL SKILLS 🐶
· With People: I may be a little shy when we first meet, but once I feel comfortable, my sweet and affectionate personality starts to shine through! Tasty treats are a great way to win my heart, and I love receiving gentle pets and attention from people I trust.
I'm also gentle with children and comfortable being picked up and held. Once I've warmed up to you, I might even roll over and show you my belly, hoping for some extra affection and belly rubs!
All I need is a little patience and time to get to know you. Once I come out of my shell, you'll discover just how loving and cuddly I can be!
· With Dogs: I'm a friendly and social pup who loves spending time with my doggy friends! I enjoy greeting other dogs and having fun during playtime. Whether we're running around together or simply enjoying each other's company, having canine friends nearby makes me happy!
My doggy friends also mean a lot to me emotionally. I find comfort and reassurance in their company, especially when I'm feeling a little unsure or shy.
I'm a gentle, peace-loving pup who prefers to avoid conflict and keep things friendly. Having a kind and playful canine companion in my forever home would be a wonderful bonus, as I feel more confident and secure with doggy friends by my side!

⚡️ ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY ⚡️
I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring, and having fun, but once I’ve had my activity and excitement, I’m more than happy to come inside and relax comfortably indoors.
🧠 TRAINING & HABITS 🧠
I'm still learning my leash manners, but I'm making steady progress every day! I may pull occasionally when something catches my interest, but overall, I follow my handler's lead nicely. With a little more practice and consistency, I'm sure I'll continue improving!
I also have good manners around food and don't guard my meals or treats from either people or other dogs.
I may bark from time to time, but overall, I'm a pretty quiet pup. I also know how to settle down and rest calmly in my kennel, which is a great habit to have!
As for my potty habits, I'm comfortable doing my business both indoors using pee pads and outdoors. With a consistent routine in my forever home, I can continue developing good habits.
I'm still a young pup with plenty to learn, but I've already made a great start! With patience, encouragement, and a loving family by my side, I have so much potential to become a wonderful companion.

Since I haven't experienced living in a home yet, I'll need some time to adjust to new routines and surroundings. I've had a few difficult beginnings, but I'm ready for a fresh start with a family who will give me the love, patience, and stability I deserve. I promise I'll be worth the wait!
