🐾 MY RESCUE STORY 🐾
My story began at the Gurye Municipal Shelter in South Korea, where I was placed on the euthanasia list alongside my siblings, Merang and Ppore.
We were still just puppies, with our whole lives ahead of us, yet our futures were already uncertain.
At an age when we should have been discovering the world, learning new things, and experiencing the joy of being loved, we were instead facing the possibility of never getting that chance.
Thankfully, rescuers stepped in before it was too late.
They gave us something incredibly precious: a second chance at life.
Since being rescued, I've been showing everyone what a sweet, loving, and intelligent little girl I am.
Just like my siblings, I have a naturally gentle personality and an enormous love for people.
Despite everything I've been through, I haven't lost my trust in humans.
In fact, spending time with people is one of my favorite things in the world!
I'm still young, and there are so many wonderful experiences waiting for me.
I hope my next chapter will be filled with kindness, exciting discoveries, and a family who will love me for the rest of my life.
I was once a puppy whose future was uncertain. Now, I'm ready to become someone's beloved family member. 🤎

💖 MY PERSONALITY 💖
Hi, I'm Curry!
I'm a beautiful dark brown Jindo mix with a classic Jindo appearance, an elegant expression, and a wonderfully affectionate personality.
My rescuers say I'm an especially beautiful girl in person, with the lovely features that make Jindos so admired.
But as beautiful as I am on the outside, my personality is what truly makes me special.
I'm an incredibly sweet, friendly, and people-loving puppy.
I happily approach both familiar people and complete strangers, lean against them for affection, and enjoy being petted.
I'm also comfortable around men and have shown no particular hesitation when meeting male caregivers.
One thing my rescuers have noticed about me is that I almost always choose people over other dogs.
Although I'm generally comfortable around canine companions, I'd much rather spend my time interacting with humans.
If there's a person nearby who might offer affection, attention, or a tasty treat, that's usually where you'll find me!
And speaking of treats...
I absolutely love food!
I'm very food motivated, which makes training especially enjoyable.
My rescuers were impressed by how quickly I learned sit and wait.
Not only did I pick up these commands quickly, but I also perform them very well!
I have a wonderful attention span and can focus nicely when someone is working with me.
For a puppy who's still learning about the world, that's a pretty impressive start!
Of course, I'm still young, so I can have my mischievous moments.
But underneath my occasional puppy antics is a naturally gentle, affectionate, and eager-to-learn girl.
I'm a beautiful little Jindo with a loving heart, a clever mind, and a special talent for making people fall in love with me.
🐶 MY SOCIAL SKILLS 🐶
· With People: I absolutely love people! I'm friendly and affectionate with both familiar faces and strangers. I happily approach new people, lean against them, and enjoy receiving attention. I'm also comfortable around men and can be picked up with proper support. Given the choice, I generally prefer spending time with people over interacting with other dogs.
· With Children: I haven't had experience with children under 13 yet, so my behavior around younger kids is still unknown. Because I'm still a puppy, gentle introductions, appropriate supervision, and guidance around good manners would be important.
· With Dogs: I'm generally peaceful and comfortable around other dogs, especially those who are similar in size to me. I may approach unfamiliar dogs to say hello, but I don't usually initiate play and often prefer to mind my own business. I tend to be more interested in human companionship than canine playtime. As with any dog, thoughtful introductions are important.
· With Cats: My reaction to cats hasn't been observed yet, so we don't know how I would behave around them. Slow, supervised introductions would be necessary.
⚡ MY ENERGY LEVEL ⚡
I have a moderate energy level, which means I enjoy a lovely balance of outdoor activity and relaxation.
I like going for walks, exploring new surroundings, and spending time with my favorite people.
But once I've had enough activity, I'm generally happy to settle down and enjoy some quiet time.
Although I'm still a puppy, I'm not constantly looking for excitement.
I enjoy having opportunities to explore and play, but I also appreciate peaceful moments with my humans.
As I continue growing, my energy level and exercise needs may change.
Regular walks, interactive games, mental enrichment, and training sessions will help me stay happy and healthy.
Because I have such a wonderful attention span and love learning new things, activities that challenge my mind could be especially rewarding.
I'd love a family who enjoys spending time outdoors but also appreciates relaxing together at home.
🦮 MY WALKING SKILLS 🦮
I'm currently learning how to walk on a leash.
Since I'm still a young puppy, I'll need continued guidance as I develop good walking habits.
There's so much to see, smell, and explore, and I'm still learning how to navigate the world outside.
With consistent practice, patience, and positive reinforcement, I can continue building confidence and improving my leash manners.
Thankfully, I have two wonderful qualities that can help me succeed.
I love treats, and I have an excellent attention span!
My rescuers have already seen how quickly I can learn new commands, so I'm off to a promising start.
I'd love a family who will continue teaching me how to enjoy walks safely and confidently.
🏠 MY HOME LIFE & MANNERS 🏠
Even though I'm still a puppy, I've already shown some wonderful learning abilities.
I know how to sit and wait, and my rescuers were impressed by how quickly I picked up both commands.
I'm very food motivated and have a good attention span, which makes me a promising student.
I'm also calm when placed in a kennel, providing a great foundation for continued crate training.
When it comes to potty habits, I currently use both indoor pee pads and outdoor potty areas.
I'll still need consistency and guidance as I adjust to a new home, but I've already started developing useful habits.
One thing my future family should know is that I can occasionally bark when I want something.
This may happen when I'm excited about food, attention, or another reward.
With consistent boundaries and positive reinforcement, I can learn more appropriate ways to communicate my needs.
I also have a very typical puppy habit: I sometimes like to chew or tear at soft items, including blankets!
Because I'm still young, it's important that my future family provides appropriate chew toys, supervises me around household items, and helps me learn what is and isn't okay to chew.
Another important thing to know is that I may become protective of my food around other dogs.
I don't guard food from people, but I may growl if another dog approaches while I'm eating.
Because of this, I should be fed separately from other dogs in a quiet, comfortable space where I can enjoy my meals peacefully.
With patience, consistent training, and appropriate enrichment, I have wonderful potential to become a well-mannered family companion.
🌱 WHAT I'M STILL LEARNING 🌱
I'm considered a Level 1 Rescue Dog, but I'm still a young puppy who needs continued training and guidance.
Although I'm naturally friendly, affectionate, and intelligent, there are still important skills I need to develop.
I'm currently working on leash training and learning how to navigate new environments.
I'll also benefit from continued potty training, household routines, and positive socialization.
Because I'm still a puppy, I sometimes chew or tear at soft items such as blankets.
My future family can help by providing appropriate chew toys, supervising me, and rewarding good choices.
I'll also need guidance around occasional demand barking and learning to communicate my needs calmly.
If I live with other dogs, separate feeding arrangements will be important because I can become protective of my food during mealtimes.
Thankfully, I'm already showing wonderful potential as a learner.
My rescuers were impressed by how quickly I learned sit and wait, and I perform both commands very well.
I have a strong attention span and absolutely love treats, which makes reward-based training especially effective for me.
I may still have some puppy habits to work on, but I'm a bright little girl who's ready to learn and grow with the right family.
🏡 MY IDEAL HOME 🏡
My dream home would be filled with love, patience, and people who enjoy having an affectionate dog by their side.
I'm a very people-oriented girl, so I'd love a family who enjoys spending quality time with their dog.
Whether we're going for walks, practicing new tricks, or simply relaxing together, I'll be happiest knowing I'm part of the family.
Because I'm still a puppy, I'll need continued training, mental enrichment, and opportunities to explore the world.
I'd especially appreciate a family who enjoys positive reinforcement training.
With my excellent attention span and love of treats, I think we could have a wonderful time learning together!
I could potentially live with a calm, compatible canine companion, particularly one who is similar in size to me.
However, because I can become protective of my food around other dogs, separate feeding arrangements would be important.
I'd also do well as an only dog, especially since I naturally prefer human companionship over canine playtime.
My future family should be prepared for some typical puppy behaviors, including occasional chewing and demand barking.
But with patience, consistency, and plenty of appropriate activities, I have wonderful potential to grow into a loving, well-mannered companion.
Most importantly, I want a family who will appreciate my gentle personality, encourage my curiosity, and give me the love and security I've been waiting for.
✨ WHY YOU'LL LOVE ME ✨
Some dogs catch your attention with their playful personalities.
Others win your heart with their beautiful appearance.
I think I might do a little bit of both.
I'm a gorgeous dark brown Jindo mix with a classic, elegant appearance and a sweet expression that my rescuers say is even more beautiful in person.
But what makes me truly special is how much I love people.
I happily approach strangers, enjoy affection, and always seem to prefer spending time with humans over other dogs.
I'm also a clever little girl.
I learned sit and wait surprisingly quickly, and I have a wonderful attention span when someone is working with me.
Of course, I'm still a puppy, so I sometimes get into a little mischief.
I may chew on a blanket or bark when I want something, but I'm learning!
And I have so much potential.
What makes my story especially meaningful is where it began.
I was once a puppy at the Gurye Municipal Shelter, facing euthanasia alongside my siblings, Merang and Ppore.
At an age when I should have been discovering the world, my future was already uncertain.
Thankfully, someone stepped in and gave us another chance.
Now, I have the opportunity to experience all the wonderful things that every dog deserves.
A loving family.
A safe place to sleep.
Walks through the neighborhood.
Tasty treats.
And someone who will smile when they see me waiting for them.
I don't need anything extraordinary.
Just a family who will love me, guide me as I grow, and give me the chance to become the wonderful dog I'm meant to be.
I was once a little puppy waiting for someone to save my life. Now, I'm hoping to become the reason someone smiles every day. 🤎
