🐾 MY RESCUE STORY 🐾
My story began at the Gurye Municipal Shelter in South Korea, where I was placed on the euthanasia list alongside my siblings, Merang and Curry.
We were still just puppies, with our whole lives ahead of us, yet our futures were already uncertain.
At an age when we should have been exploring the world, playing freely, and discovering what it means to be loved, we were facing the possibility of never getting that chance.
Thankfully, rescuers stepped in before it was too late.
They gave us something incredibly precious: a second chance at life.
Since being rescued, I've been showing everyone just how much love I've been waiting to share.
Despite my difficult beginning, I've remained an incredibly affectionate, cheerful, and trusting little girl.
In fact, my rescuers say there's one thing I love more than almost anything else in the world.
People!
I love people so much that sometimes I forget I'm supposed to be doing anything else.
Even when we're practicing walking on a leash, I'd much rather stop and ask for cuddles!
And when someone finally picks me up and holds me close, I feel so comfortable that I sometimes fall asleep right in their arms.
After everything I've been through, there's something especially meaningful about how naturally I seek comfort in human affection.
I was once a little puppy whose future was uncertain. Now, all I want is a family whose arms I can finally call home. 🤎

💖 MY PERSONALITY 💖
Hi, I'm Ppore!
I'm an adorable little Jindo mix with a beautiful brown coat, a charming black muzzle, and a personality that's just as sweet as my face.
My rescuers say I look a little like a miniature Belgian Malinois because of my distinctive black muzzle!
I'm smaller than my sister Curry, with a petite frame and an irresistibly cute appearance.
And when I walk around with my tiny, busy little steps, I apparently look even more adorable.
But my appearance isn't the only thing that makes me special.
I'm an incredibly affectionate, people-loving puppy who seems to believe that everyone exists to give me cuddles.
I absolutely adore humans.
Familiar people, complete strangers, men, women—it doesn't matter!
If there's a person nearby, there's a very good chance I'll be heading straight toward them.
I love approaching people, leaning against them, and asking for attention.
Sometimes, I get so excited about being close to someone that I forget what I was supposed to be doing.
My rescuers have even had trouble practicing leash walking with me because I keep trying to cuddle instead!
And here's my sweetest little habit.
When someone picks me up and holds me in their arms, I sometimes fall asleep.
There's just something about being close to a person that makes me feel completely comfortable.
I also love treats and have a wonderful attention span, which means I have great potential when it comes to learning new things.
Although I'm still a puppy, I'm already showing a lovely combination of affection, curiosity, and eagerness to engage with people.
I'm a tiny cuddle enthusiast with a big heart, a cute black muzzle, and an endless supply of love to give.
🐶 MY SOCIAL SKILLS 🐶
· With People: I absolutely love people! I'm extremely friendly and affectionate with both familiar faces and complete strangers. I happily approach people, lean against them, and seek out attention. I'm comfortable being picked up with proper support, and I sometimes become so relaxed in someone's arms that I fall asleep. Human companionship is definitely my favorite thing!
· With Children: I haven't had experience with children under 13 yet, so my behavior around younger kids is still unknown. Because I'm still a puppy, gentle introductions and appropriate supervision would be important.
· With Dogs: I'm generally comfortable approaching unfamiliar dogs to say hello, but I don't usually initiate play. I tend to be much more interested in people than other dogs, and I often prefer human attention over canine playtime. As with any dog, thoughtful introductions and respect for personal boundaries are important.
· With Cats: My reaction to cats hasn't been observed yet, so we don't know how I would behave around them. Slow, supervised introductions would be necessary.
⚡ MY ENERGY LEVEL ⚡
I have a moderate energy level, which means I enjoy a lovely balance of outdoor activity and relaxation.
I like spending time outside, exploring new places, and enjoying opportunities to move around.
But once I've had enough activity, I'm generally happy to settle down and relax.
Of course, I'm still a puppy, so I have my playful moments!
I enjoy exploring my surroundings and can be quite lively when something catches my interest.
But more than anything, I love spending time with people.
Whether we're going for a walk, practicing new tricks, or simply sitting together, I'm happiest when I get to share the experience with someone I love.
As I continue growing, my energy level and exercise needs may change.
Regular walks, interactive games, mental enrichment, and positive training sessions will help me stay happy and healthy.
🦮 MY WALKING SKILLS 🦮
I'm currently learning how to walk on a leash, and I have a rather adorable little challenge.
I love people so much that sometimes I'd rather cuddle than walk!
When my rescuers first started practicing leash walking with me, I kept trying to approach them for affection instead of focusing on the walk.
After all, why keep walking when there's someone right beside me who could be giving me cuddles?
It's a sweet habit, but I'm still learning that walks are for exploring, too!
With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, I can continue building confidence and developing better leash manners.
Thankfully, I have a wonderful attention span and absolutely love treats, which can make training especially rewarding.
I'd love a family who will help me discover the joy of walking while still making plenty of time for affection.
🏠 MY HOME LIFE & MANNERS 🏠
Even though I'm still a puppy, I've already shown some wonderful qualities.
I'm naturally affectionate and enjoy being close to people.
I also have a good attention span and respond enthusiastically to treats, which can make learning new skills easier.
When it comes to potty habits, I currently use both indoor pee pads and outdoor potty areas.
I'll still need consistency and guidance as I adjust to a new home, but I've already started developing useful habits.
One thing my future family should know is that I can occasionally bark when I want something.
Because I love attention so much, I may sometimes become vocal when I'm hoping for affection, food, or another reward.
With consistent boundaries and positive reinforcement, I can learn more appropriate ways to communicate my needs.
I'm also still getting used to being in a kennel.
When placed inside, I may whine because I'm not yet completely comfortable with the experience.
Patient, gradual crate training will help me learn that a kennel can be a safe and relaxing space.
Another important thing to know is that I may become protective of my food around other dogs.
I don't guard food from people, but I may growl if another dog approaches while I'm eating.
Because of this, I should be fed separately from other dogs in a quiet, comfortable space where I can enjoy my meals peacefully.
Although I'm naturally sweet and affectionate, I'm still young and will need continued guidance as I learn household routines and boundaries.
🌱 WHAT I'M STILL LEARNING 🌱
I'm considered a Level 1 Rescue Dog, but I'm still a young puppy who has plenty to learn.
Although I'm naturally outgoing and affectionate, I'll need continued training to help me grow into a confident, well-mannered adult dog.
One of the biggest things I'm working on right now is leash walking.
Because I love people so much, I sometimes become distracted by my desire for affection.
My future family can help me learn how to stay focused during walks while still enjoying plenty of cuddle time afterward.
I'll also benefit from continued potty training, crate training, and learning how to communicate my needs calmly.
Since I may whine in a kennel or bark when I want something, patience and positive reinforcement will be important.
If I live with other dogs, I'll also need separate feeding arrangements because I can become protective of my food during mealtimes.
Thankfully, I have two wonderful qualities that can help me succeed.
I love treats, and I have a great attention span!
My rescuers believe these qualities will make it easier for me to learn new skills with consistent guidance.
I'm still a little puppy discovering the world, but with a loving family by my side, I'm ready to learn and grow.
🏡 MY IDEAL HOME 🏡
My dream home would be filled with love, patience, and people who enjoy having an affectionate dog by their side.
I'm a very people-oriented girl, so I'd be happiest with a family who enjoys spending quality time together.
Whether we're going for walks, practicing new tricks, or simply relaxing on the couch, I'll be delighted to be included.
And if you're someone who loves cuddling with your dog, I think we might be a perfect match!
Because I'm still a puppy, I'll need continued training, mental enrichment, and opportunities to explore the world.
I'd love a family who understands that although I'm naturally sweet and affectionate, I'm still learning important manners.
I could potentially live with a calm, compatible canine companion, but I'd also be happy in a home where I receive plenty of human attention.
If I live with other dogs, separate feeding arrangements will be important because I can become protective of my food during mealtimes.
I'd also benefit from a family who can help me become more comfortable with crate time and develop confidence during walks.
Most importantly, I want a family who will appreciate my affectionate personality and give me the love and security I've been waiting for.
✨ WHY YOU'LL LOVE ME ✨
Some dogs love chasing balls.
Some dogs love playing with other dogs.
And some dogs love exploring the world.
Me?
I love people.
I love people so much that sometimes I forget I'm supposed to be doing anything else.
When my rescuers try to practice leash walking with me, I often stop to ask for cuddles instead.
And when someone finally picks me up and holds me close, I sometimes fall asleep right there in their arms.
I'm a petite little girl with a beautiful brown coat, an adorable black muzzle, and tiny, busy steps that make everyone smile.
My rescuers say I look like a miniature Belgian Malinois, but with the heart of a little cuddle bug.
I'm also a bright puppy who loves treats and has a wonderful attention span.
I still have plenty to learn, but I have so much potential.
What makes my story especially meaningful is where it began.
I was once a little puppy at the Gurye Municipal Shelter, facing euthanasia alongside my siblings, Merang and Curry.
At an age when I should have been discovering the world, my future was already uncertain.
Thankfully, someone stepped in and gave us another chance.
Now, I have the opportunity to experience all the wonderful things that every dog deserves.
A safe home.
A loving family.
Walks through the neighborhood.
Delicious treats.
And a pair of arms that will always welcome me.
I don't need anything extraordinary.
Just someone who will love me, guide me as I grow, and let me curl up close when I need a little comfort.
I was once a puppy waiting for someone to save my life. Now, I'm just a little girl hoping to fall asleep in the arms of someone who will love me forever. 🤎
