🐾 MY RESCUE STORY 🐾
I was rescued from a city pound after being placed on the euthanasia list due to overcrowding. With limited space and so many dogs in need, my future was uncertain, even though I still had so much life ahead of me.
Thankfully, kindhearted rescuers stepped in and gave me a second chance at life. Instead of my story ending at the shelter, I was given the opportunity to experience kindness, care, and the hope of a brighter future.
Now, I'm looking forward to the next chapter of my journey: finding a loving forever family who will cherish me and give me the safe, happy home I've always deserved. My past may have been uncertain, but I'm hoping my future will be filled with love, adventures, and wonderful memories together!

💖 MY PERSONALITY 💖
I'm a true Labrador Retriever mix at heart, with so many of the wonderful qualities my breed is known for! I'm a sweet, gentle, and friendly boy who absolutely loves being around people. I have an easygoing personality and enjoy all the attention and affection that comes my way.
I'm also very comfortable being handled! In fact, on my very first day, I was such a good boy during bath time. I patiently allowed myself to be washed and didn't even mind having water splashed on my face! The volunteers were impressed by how cooperative and gentle I was, especially in a new environment.
My friendly nature extends to my doggy friends, too! I get along well with other dogs and enjoy their company. With my loving personality and gentle temperament, I have so much potential to become a wonderful family companion. I'm just a sweet boy looking for someone to share all my love with!
🐶 MY SOCIAL SKILLS 🐶
· With People: I'm a friendly, affectionate boy who genuinely loves being around people! I enjoy meeting new faces and happily welcome attention and affection from everyone I meet. I'm also comfortable being handled and allow myself to be picked up without any fuss.
The volunteers and staff often compliment my sweet, easygoing personality and believe I'll adjust nicely to life in a loving home. With my gentle nature and love for people, I have so much potential to become a wonderful family companion. I can't wait to find a forever family to share all my love with!
· With Dogs: I'm friendly with other dogs and get along well with my doggy friends at the care facility, although I'm more of a people-loving pup who prefers doing my own thing. I enjoy peaceful companionship, but overly energetic or pushy dogs can sometimes overwhelm me.
At my previous care facility, I had a best friend named Life, and we shared a very special bond. When Life was adopted, the volunteers noticed how lonely I became. Sadly, I was later injured during a group dog fight. I'm now at a new care facility, where I'm recovering and receiving the love and care I deserve.
Despite my past, I still get along well with other dogs! I simply appreciate having my boundaries respected. If another dog becomes too pushy, I may growl to communicate that I need space. Thoughtful introductions and calm, respectful doggy companions are important to me. I'm a sweet boy who just wants to enjoy life peacefully!

⚡️ ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY ⚡️
I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring, and having fun, but once I’ve had my activity and excitement, I’m more than happy to come inside and relax comfortably indoors.
🧠 TRAINING & HABITS 🧠
I walk nicely on leash and generally follow my handler's lead. I'm also well-mannered around food and don't show any food guarding toward people or other dogs. I'm a quiet boy who rarely barks and knows how to settle calmly in my kennel.
I'm comfortable doing my business both indoors using pee pads and outdoors. With a consistent walking routine, I have the potential to transition to outdoor potty breaks only!
Like a typical Labrador Retriever mix, I'm smart, eager to learn, and enjoy making my people happy! I would also do well with a calm, respectful doggy sibling who understands my boundaries and gives me space when I need it. I enjoy companionship, but I appreciate having my quiet moments, too!

The volunteers and staff often compliment me on what an absolute angel I am! I'm a sweet, gentle boy who loves people and is incredibly easygoing when being handled. I'm comfortable being touched almost anywhere on my body and rarely make a fuss, even during baths or when being picked up.
My name means "handsome boy," and everyone says it suits me perfectly! But beyond my handsome looks, it's my loving personality and gentle heart that make me truly special. I'm simply a good boy who wants to be loved, cherished, and given a forever family to call my own!
