🐾 MY RESCUE STORY 🐾
I was rescued from a city pound after being placed on the euthanasia list due to overcrowding. With limited space and so many dogs in need, my future was uncertain, even though I still had so much life ahead of me.
Thankfully, kindhearted rescuers stepped in and gave me a second chance at life. Instead of my story ending at the shelter, I was given the opportunity to experience kindness, care, and the hope of a brighter future.

I'm a friendly, happy-go-lucky boy who absolutely loves people and other dogs! At approximately 10 months old, I'm still a big baby at heart, and sometimes I forget just how big I actually am! I seem to think I'm a tiny lap dog and love snuggling into the volunteers' arms like a little baby.
I'm incredibly affectionate and always excited to meet new people. I'll happily follow you around, hoping for tasty treats, pets, and plenty of attention. I might even roll over and show you my belly almost immediately because I just love receiving affection!
I'm just as enthusiastic when meeting new doggy friends! Sometimes I can be a little too friendly and excited, which not every dog appreciates, so I'm still learning how to respect their boundaries and improve my social manners.
I'm a goofy, lovable, slightly derpy pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart! With a little guidance and patience, I have so much potential to grow into a wonderful companion who will fill your days with laughter, affection, and plenty of silly moments!
🐶 MY SOCIAL SKILLS 🐶
· With People: I'm an incredibly friendly and affectionate boy who absolutely loves everyone I meet! Whether we're old friends or meeting for the very first time, I'm always excited to say hello and soak up all the attention I can get. I love showing off my belly almost immediately, hoping for some extra belly rubs!
I also love being picked up and will sometimes even hop right into people's arms like a little baby! The funny thing is, I don't seem to realize just how big I am. In my mind, I'm still a tiny lap dog who deserves all the cuddles in the world! I'm just a goofy, lovable boy with so much affection to share.
· With Dogs: I'm a friendly, social boy who loves making new doggy friends! I get along well with dogs of similar size and smaller pups, and I'm always happy to say hello. Sometimes my excitement gets the best of me, and I can be a little overly enthusiastic when meeting new friends! I'm still learning my doggy manners and how to respect other dogs' personal space. With a little guidance and continued socialization, I have so much potential to become an even better playmate!
· With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown.
⚡️ ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY ⚡️
I have a high energy level and absolutely love spending time outdoors! Whether it's exploring new places, going on long walks, or enjoying exciting adventures, I'm always eager to get moving and have some fun. Once I've had a chance to burn off my energy, I'm more than happy to come inside, settle down, and enjoy some well-deserved relaxation.
I would thrive with an active family who loves hiking, exploring nature, and spending plenty of time outdoors. I'm looking for a family who can keep up with my playful spirit and include me in their adventures. With plenty of exercise, fun activities, and quality time together, I'll be one happy pup!
🧠 TRAINING & HABITS 🧠
I walk nicely on leash and generally follow my handler's lead, making me a great companion for outdoor adventures! I'm also well-mannered around food and don't show any food guarding toward people or other dogs.
I may occasionally bark when I want attention, but otherwise, I'm a pretty quiet boy. I'm still learning how to settle calmly in my kennel, so a little patience and consistent guidance will help me improve.
I'm comfortable doing my business both indoors using pee pads and outdoors. With a consistent walking and potty routine, I have the potential to transition to outdoor potty breaks only!
I'm still a young pup learning my manners, but with patience, positive reinforcement, and a loving family to guide me, I have so much potential to grow into a wonderful companion!

During my profile photoshoot, I greeted the volunteers and staff with so much excitement, as if we'd been best friends forever! My tail was wagging nonstop, and I couldn't wait to say hello to everyone and soak up all the attention.
Despite my bigger size, I seem to think I'm a tiny lap dog! I absolutely love snuggling into people's arms like a little baby, completely unaware of how big I've gotten. It's just one of my many goofy and lovable quirks!
I'm friendly with both people and other dogs, although I'm definitely more of a people-loving pup who enjoys being the center of attention. I'm a happy-go-lucky boy with a playful spirit, a big personality, and so much affection to share.
I know my perfect forever family is out there somewhere, and I can't wait to meet them and fill their days with laughter, cuddles, and plenty of happy tail wags!
