✨ QUICK FACTS ✨
🐕 MY RESCUE STORY 🐕
Hi there! My name is Morning, and just like the sunrise, I represent a brand-new beginning. I was rescued from the euthanasia list at a city pound, given a second chance when things looked so dark. Back in March, I thought I had found my forever family, but sadly, they didn’t fully understand my sensitive, skittish nature or feel prepared to support me through my heartworm treatment. Luckily, I didn’t lose hope—because a kind and patient foster family opened their home and hearts to me. With their love and care, I’ve truly begun to blossom. These days, I’m so much brighter, happier, and ready to keep shining even more in my journey to find a forever family who will cherish me for who I am.
💊 MY HEALTH 🩺
🥰 MY PERSONALITY 🥰
My foster family says I’m the whole package—sweet, gentle, intelligent, playful, and loyal, with just the right dash of goofy charm. I love making people smile, and I have the funniest, most expressive little face that will keep you laughing every day. My foster parents always say my floppy ears make me look just like Dobby from Harry Potter, and honestly, I think it just adds to my one-of-a-kind cuteness!
🐶 MY SOCIAL SKILLS 🐶
With People: I may be a little shy at first, but with gentle approaches and a bit of patience, I’ll start to open up and show you my sweet side. Once I feel safe, I love receiving pets and affection—it just takes me a little time to adjust to new environments. My foster family says I’m very intelligent and eager to please, and nothing makes me happier than hearing gentle praises and encouragement. When you tell me I’ve done well, my tail wags nonstop! I’m learning to lean on my foster parent more each day, and with love and patience, my confidence continues to grow.
With Dogs: I do best with slow introductions at first, as it gives me time to feel safe and comfortable. I get along better with gentle, well-mannered dogs who aren’t too rowdy or pushy. Lately, I’ve even been showing more curiosity and playful behavior with the dogs in my area! In my foster home, I do really well with my two foster siblings—I rely on them for confidence, love following their lead, and we have lots of fun playtime together. I would also do well as the only dog in the home, or with calm and respectful doggy friends. Having my own cozy place to rest, like a bed that’s just for me, helps me feel secure and happy.
With Cats: I don’t have much experience with cats yet, but with my gentle and sweet nature, I believe I’ll do just fine with thoughtful introductions. I’m the kind of pup who’s happy to quietly sit near cats and tolerate their presence, so with patience and care, I can learn to live peacefully alongside a feline friend.
⚡️ ENERGY LEVEL ⚡️
I have a low-to-medium energy level. I love going for leashed walks and enjoy a good off-leash romp in a fully enclosed area where I can safely stretch my legs. Once I’ve had my bit of outdoor fun, I’m content to settle down quietly indoors. I also know how to keep myself entertained with toys when I’m in the mood, which makes me a pretty easygoing companion.
🎲 TRAINING & HABITS 🎲
When it comes to leash walking, I’m already doing quite well and improving every day! I’m a fast learner and eager to please, which makes training me a fun and rewarding experience. Sometimes, if I feel unsure in a new environment or around unfamiliar people or dogs, I may pull a little on leash—but with gentle encouragement and a bit of space, I quickly relax and follow along nicely.
I’m also a polite pup when it comes to barking. Occasionally, I’ll give a short alert bark if I hear noises in the condo hallway or while at the dog park, but nothing excessive. I’m very responsive to the “quiet” command and love being praised when I listen, which helps me keep my cool.
Car rides are still something I’m learning to get comfortable with. Sometimes I can get a little queasy or drooly from nerves, but I’m making progress with practice and patience. Making sure my tummy is empty before the trip really helps me feel better. With time, I know I’ll continue to grow more confident and relaxed.

💌 SPECIAL NOTES 💌
When I first came to my foster home, I was shy, anxious, and unsure of my new world. But with gentle approaches and patience, I quickly warmed up—I even claimed a cozy spot on the couch!
I do best when I have my own bed and space, but I’ve been thriving with my two foster dog siblings. They give me confidence, and I love having a playmate. I’d also do well as an only dog, as long as my family gives me patience and structure.
I enjoy leash walks, though I feel safest on quiet routes. Busy, noisy streets can scare me, but with time and encouragement, I’m learning to be brave. Off-leash in enclosed areas, I stay close by and have great recall. I’m also a smart girl who learns quickly—sometimes a little stubborn, but once I know a skill, I’m solid!
I love belly rubs, head scratches, and being praised—it makes me beam with happiness. I can get a little overexcited when playing, but I’m improving every day with guidance. I’m still young, silly, and eager to please, and with the right family, I’ll blossom into the most loyal and loving companion.
