Hi, I’m Pony — a big-hearted pup with a new lease on life. I was once tied up in a field on the outskirts of town, kept as a guard dog by someone who planned to sell me. But one day, I broke free and ran for my life. Not far from where I escaped, I met a kind rescuer who took me in and gave me the second chance I didn’t know I needed. Now, I’m safe, happy, and ready to find a forever home where I’ll be loved and never tied down again.

Whether it’s belly rubs, playtime, or relaxing by your side, I’m happiest when I’m near my people. I’m confident, curious, and always ready to share love.

With People: I’m very friendly and trusting — I enjoy meeting new people and easily approach for affection. Once I feel safe, I’ll roll onto my back for belly rubs and happily soak up all the love. I even enjoy being picked up, despite my size!
With Dogs: I love other dogs, especially big ones! I’m polite with greetings and always eager to play. Whether it’s a familiar friend or a new one, I get excited to meet fellow pups and have fun.
With Cats: I’m curious but calm. I’ll glance at cats on walks and may watch them quietly indoors, but I listen well when redirected. After one swat from a cat, I’ve learned to keep my distance — no hard feelings, though! 🐾

I have a moderate energy level — I love walks and outdoor time but easily settle once I’ve had my fill. I can get a little excited at the start of walks and may pull on the leash, but I listen well and just need some consistent training to be the perfect walking companion.

I’m crate-comfortable and calm in a kennel.
