🐾 MY RESCUE STORY 🐾
I was rescued from a crowded city pound after being placed on the euthanasia list due to lack of space. Thanks to my amazing rescuers, I was given a second chance at life—and now I’m safe, ready to find a forever family to love me as much as I’ll love them.
🩺 MY HEALTH 🩺
💖 MY PERSONALITY 💖
I’m a sweet and gentle girl who can be a little shy at first. I spent most of my puppyhood in a city pound after being brought in with my siblings, so I’m still learning about the world around me. Out of my siblings, I have the softest and calmest temperament. I prefer to avoid conflict and will walk away when other dogs become pushy or rude.
I’ll benefit from gentle guidance as I continue building confidence around people, but I’m naturally curious and enjoy being close to humans. With patience, love, and consistency, I’ll grow into a loyal and loving companion.
🐶 MY SOCIAL SKILLS 🐶
· With People: I can be a little shy at first, but I’ll gently take treats from your hand and approach you with quiet curiosity. Once I feel more comfortable, I happily allow gentle pets and affection. During my profile photoshoot, volunteers and staff couldn’t stop praising how sweet and baby-like I am. I’m still a young girl with so much potential, and I do well being picked up when handled gently.
· With Dogs: I’m friendly with my dog friends and playtime is my favorite part of the day. I generally get along best with dogs my size or larger and enjoy having canine companions to play and socialize with.
· With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.
⚡️ ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY ⚡️
I have a moderate energy level and enjoy spending time outdoors to run, explore, and stretch my legs. Afterwards, I’m content to relax and unwind in a cozy spot, enjoying quiet moments close to my people.
🧠 TRAINING & HABITS 🧠
I’m still a young pup and would benefit from continued socialization and basic obedience training, but I’m eager to learn and pick things up quickly. With the guidance and love of my forever family, I know I’ll continue to blossom and show more of my sweet, affectionate personality.
I already walk nicely on leash and follow my handler’s lead well. I’m respectful around food and do not guard with people or other dogs. I’m a very quiet girl who rarely barks and know how to rest calmly in my kennel. I prefer outdoor potty only.
I carry many of the wonderful Jindo traits people admire—loyal, gentle, and calm indoors—making me a lovely companion for a home looking for a quiet and devoted pup.
🏡 MY IDEAL HOME 🏡
I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with:
💌 SPECIAL NOTES 💌
I’m considered a level 2 rescue dog, which means I’ll need a few days to about a week to feel settled and comfortable in my new environment. During this early bonding period, it’s important that I’m kept safe with a double leash setup (harness and collar) and a GPS tracker when outdoors.
I can be a little awkward when interacting with people at first, but beneath my shy exterior is a truly sweet and affectionate girl. That gentle side shines through very quickly once we spend a little time together—and you’ll see just how special I am when you meet me in person.
