🐾 MY RESCUE STORY 🐾
I was born hiding beneath piles of abandoned construction materials. Before I was rescued, kind people in the area had already watched many stray dogs disappear one by one throughout the summer. By the time help arrived, only a few frightened dogs were left trying to survive. My siblings and I stayed hidden quietly, too small to understand the danger around us. Then one day, rescuers found us and carefully carried us to safety before we could become part of that story too.
Now, instead of hiding, I’m slowly learning what safety and warmth feel like. For the first time, my world feels filled with hope instead of fear.

Hi, I’m Ppo. I’m a gentle and calm soul who enjoys life at a steady, easygoing pace. I’m polite and thoughtful, taking treats carefully and listening closely to the people around me. I love affection and cuddles, and I’ll happily settle in your arms for a quiet, warm moment together.
I’m still learning to feel fully comfortable in new places and with new people, so I may need a little time to adjust when the environment changes. Once I settle in, my sweet and affectionate nature shines through, and I show a lot of warmth and trust toward those I know.

🐶 MY SOCIAL SKILLS 🐶
· With People: I can be a little shy at first, but it doesn’t take me long to warm up—especially if treats are involved. Once I feel comfortable, I happily accept gentle touch and begin showing my affectionate side. When I truly trust someone, I’ll roll over to share my belly and enjoy those sweet, quiet moments together. I’m also comfortable being picked up, which helps me feel safe and close to my people. I haven’t had the chance to meet young children yet, so I may simply need a little time and guidance as I experience something new.
· With Dogs: I’m polite and calm when meeting unfamiliar dogs, usually walking up to say hello before quietly moving along rather than turning it into playtime. If another dog behaves rudely or provokes me, I tend to respond by barking to express myself, but I generally prefer to avoid conflict rather than escalate the situation.
· With Cats: I haven’t had the chance to be observed around cats yet, so I’m still an open book there. I do get excited by birds and may try to chase after them, showing off my curious and playful instincts when something catches my eye outside.
⚡️ ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY ⚡️
I have moderate energy level – I enjoy spending time outdoors and exploring at a comfortable pace, then settling down quietly once I’ve had my fun.
In calmer, quieter places, I walk along nicely and enjoy taking in the world around me. Busy roads with lots of cars can still feel a little overwhelming, and I may look around cautiously or check back often to make sure my person is close by. When I’m unsure, I like to stay near my handler’s side for reassurance, leaning in for comfort as we move forward together.

I have a gentle and easygoing nature and don’t feel the need to guard my food around people or other dogs.
Sometimes, when I really want something—like being picked up after a walk—I may use my voice or gently tug at your clothes to let you know, which is just my way of communicating.
I settle calmly in a kennel
I usually do my bathroom breaks outdoors, though I can also use indoor pads if needed.
