🐾 MY RESCUE STORY 🐾
I was rescued from a shelter where my time was running out. The days there felt uncertain, and I quietly waited without knowing if anyone would notice me. Then someone did. I was given a chance to leave that place behind and start over somewhere safe.
Now I’m learning how comforting gentle voices, warm spaces, and kind hands can be. Little by little, I’m beginning to believe that brighter days are waiting for me too.

Hi, I’m Napa. I’m a bright, spirited puppy with a confident little spark that makes me hard to forget. I move through life with curiosity and determination, always ready to explore, play, and see what’s happening around me. People often say there’s something especially clever and strong-minded about me—and honestly, they might be right.
I’m very affectionate with people and love being included in everyday life. I enjoy attention, interaction, and being part of the fun. Around other dogs, I’m generally social and playful too, though I do appreciate respectful manners. If another dog comes on too strong or behaves rudely, I’m confident enough to stand up for myself rather than quietly backing away.
I’m still young, still learning, and still filling out physically, but I already have a wonderfully lively and capable personality. If you’re looking for a smart, engaging puppy with confidence, charm, and a whole lot of character, I’d love to grow up alongside you and keep life feeling exciting every day.

· With People: I’m a naturally affectionate dog who loves being close to people—I’ll happily walk up, lean in for attention, and enjoy gentle touch, even from someone I’ve just met. Being around people comes very naturally to me, and I enjoy sharing quiet, affectionate moments together. I haven’t had the chance to meet young children yet, so I may simply need a little time and gentle guidance as I experience something new.
· With Dogs: I’m a naturally social pup who loves meeting other dogs—I’ll happily walk up, say hello, and invite them to play. I feel especially comfortable with dogs around my own size and enjoy friendly interactions together. At the same time, I really love having my person’s attention all to myself, so I may be happiest as the only dog in the home where I can fully soak up all the love and connection.

I have moderate energy level – I enjoy spending time outdoors and exploring at a comfortable pace, then settling down quietly once I’ve had my fun.
On walks, I can get a little excited and pull at times, but I naturally stay connected and follow my person well, making our time together feel enjoyable and close.

I’m gentle and trusting with people around my food and feel comfortable sharing space during mealtimes. Around other dogs, I prefer having a little personal space while eating and may quietly communicate that boundary if another dog comes too close.
