Welcome Dog Korea

The sun was shining, the water was sparkling, and August gave us the best reason of all to celebrate: 46 rescue dogs found their forever homes! 🎉

As we soak up the final stretch of summer, these pups are beginning a season of their own—one filled with new families, new adventures, and the kind of love that lasts far beyond the sunny days ahead. From poolside lounging and beach walks to road trips, backyard playdates, and cool naps after a long day in the sun, their first summer as beloved family members is just the beginning.

This August, we're raising our imaginary beach umbrellas and throwing a big Welcome Dog Korea beach party for our dogs who met their forever families! 46 beautiful new beginnings!❤️

Each name represents a journey that didn't end when a dog was rescued—it continued through rehabilitation, foster care, travel, patience, and countless people working together until the day that dog could finally hear the words we'd been waiting for: You're home.

To our wonderful adopters, thank you for making room in your lives for a rescue dog and choosing to make them part of your family. We hope this is only the first of many summers filled with sandy paws, sunny adventures, and memories made together.

And to our incredible foster families, volunteers, flight volunteers, drivers, donors, supporters, and everyone working behind the scenes: these celebrations belong to you, too. Every ride, every temporary home, every shared post, every event, and every helping hand carries our dogs a little farther toward the lives pictured here.

As one summer chapter comes to a close, 46 brand-new stories are only getting started. Somewhere between Korea and their new homes across the United States and Canada, these dogs' stories changed forever—and we couldn't think of a better way to end the summer. 🌴🌊
