On Saturday, October 10, Welcome Dog Korea welcomed the autumn season with another wonderful adoption event at Pet Valu Richmond Hill! This time, we were joined by three lovely faces: Jolly, Superman, and Jisan. Each brought something special to the afternoon, giving everyone a chance to discover just how different and lovable our rescue dogs can be.
With the cozy feeling of fall in the air, it was a lovely afternoon of introductions, gentle moments, and getting to know our dogs beyond their photos and adoption profiles. Whether they were experiencing their first adoption event or simply meeting new people, all three had their own ways of making an impression. And we couldn't have been prouder of them!
🐶 Jolly — Our Shy Little Sweetheart
Jolly may have been a little shy, but her calm and gentle nature quickly won everyone over. She didn't need to be the loudest or most outgoing dog in the room to make an impression. Her quiet sweetness spoke for itself, reminding us that sometimes the softest personalities leave the biggest impressions. It was lovely to see people appreciate her for exactly who she is!
🐾 Superman — A Friendly Face for Everyone
True to his super name, Superman came ready to spread happiness! With his friendly personality and a tail that seemed to have a greeting for everyone, he was happy to meet the people around him. His cheerful spirit was a wonderful reminder of how much joy rescue dogs have to share, and he certainly brought plenty of smiles to the afternoon.
✨ Jisan — A Star from the Very Beginning
It was Jisan's very first adoption event, and what a wonderful debut she made! Calm, affectionate, and absolutely beautiful, Jisan was a natural star. She showed everyone that a first event doesn't have to be overwhelming, and her lovely personality made her such a pleasure to meet. We were especially proud of how well she did in a new environment, and we couldn't have asked for a sweeter first appearance!
What made this event especially lovely was seeing three dogs with such different personalities sharing the same space. From Jolly's quiet gentleness to Superman's friendly enthusiasm and Jisan's affectionate charm, each had something unique to offer. It's moments like these that remind us why meeting rescue dogs in person matters so much. Every dog has a personality, a story, and a special kind of love waiting to be discovered by the right family.

We're also incredibly grateful to our foster families for the love, patience, and dedication they give our dogs every day, and to our wonderful volunteers for helping make the afternoon possible. As the leaves change and a new season unfolds, we're hopeful that beautiful new chapters are waiting for these three. Jolly, Superman, and Jisan each have so much love to give, and we can't wait for the day when the right families discover just how special they are. Until then, we'll continue cheering them on, celebrating their little milestones, and making sure their stories are heard.
