October brought us back to a familiar place! On Saturday, October 3, Welcome Dog Korea returned to Bosley’s Esplanade for another adoption event, this time with three wonderful dogs joining us: Dalkom, Sunbong, and Reggae. 🐾
There’s something special about bringing our rescue dogs out into the community. Photos and profiles can introduce a dog’s story, but meeting them in person gives visitors the chance to see the dog behind that story—and gives our dogs another opportunity to experience new people, surroundings, and situations along the way. Every dog’s adoption journey moves at its own pace, and we’re grateful for every opportunity to keep showing people who our dogs are while they wait for the right match.
Dalkom, Sunbong and Reggae had their own chance to meet visitors and represent just a small part of the many rescue dogs looking for homes through Welcome Dog Korea. Three different dogs, three different stories, and ultimately the same hope—that somewhere out there is a family who will see them and know they belong together. 💛
Events like these also give us an important opportunity to talk about rescue beyond adoption itself. Behind every dog is a network of people helping them along the way—from those involved in their rescue and transportation to the foster families providing a safe place to land, and the volunteers and supporters helping their stories reach more people.
A big thank-you to Bosley’s Esplanade for continuing to welcome Welcome Dog Korea and our dogs into your space. We’re equally grateful to our foster families for everything they do before, during, and after these events, and to our volunteers who give their time to help make each event possible.
And, of course, thank you to everyone who stopped by to meet Dalkom, Sunbong, and Reggae, learn more about our rescue work, or simply spend a little time with our dogs. Every visit helps create more awareness for rescue dogs and reminds us how much support surrounds them.
Another adoption event may be over, but the journeys of Dalkom, Sunbong, and Reggae continue. We’ll keep sharing their stories, introducing them to new people, and cheering them on as they wait for the day when we get to share the best update of all: adopted. 🏡💙
