On March 7th 2026, we held our very first adoption event in Vancouver at Bosley's Terra Nova - and it's a day we'll never forget.
For the first time, Welcome Dog Korea (WDK) brought our rescue dogs to meet the Vancouver community in person. It was a meaningful step for us, and seeing it come to life felt incredibly special.
Five of our dogs — Angel, Misoon, Ilkong, Chorong, and Pori — joined us that day. Each friend brought their own unique charm, capturing hearts throughout the event.
What moved us the most wasn't just the turnout, but the warmth of everyone who came. We met so many kind, curious, and compassionate people — families, individuals, and fellow dog lovers — who took the time to learn about our rescue, connect with our dogs, and share in our mission. Your interest, your questions, and your genuine care meant more than we can express.
As our very first event in Vancouver, this moment marks a new beginning. We're excited for what's ahead and hopeful that this is just the start of many more connections, stories, and happy tales.
