On Saturday, August 1st, we had another wonderful afternoon at Bosley's Esplanade, joined by six incredible rescue dogs — Taeo, Sunbong, Hiro, Kongkong, Nita, and Sour Cream.
It was a beautiful day filled with wagging tails, happy smiles, and so many meaningful connections. We loved welcoming visitors of all ages who stopped by to meet our dogs, learn more about adoption, and spend time getting to know each of their unique personalities. Every cuddle, treat, and kind word helped make the day even more special for our pups.
Each of our dogs had their own moment to shine throughout the afternoon.
🐾 Taeo impressed everyone with how much progress he has made when greeting other dogs. He remained his loving, affectionate self with people, accepted treats with the gentlest manners, and responded beautifully whenever his foster redirected him. We couldn't be prouder of how far he's come!
👑 Sunbong, our very own Prince Charming, may have been the biggest dog at the event, but he also had one of the gentlest hearts. He was incredibly patient and kind with all of the smaller dogs, happily sharing the space while they bounced around with endless puppy energy.
🐶 Hiro may have been the smallest pup there, but he certainly captured plenty of hearts with his adorable little face. He quietly observed everything happening around him, accepted treats with perfect manners, and whenever another dog barked, he'd sweetly ask his foster mom to pick him up for a little extra reassurance.
💛 Kongkong proved that having limited vision in one eye doesn't slow him down one bit. Full of energy and confidence, he eagerly introduced himself to every furry friend he met and was always ready to play. We also couldn't help but notice that Kongkong seemed to have a tiny little crush on Sunbong—it was simply too adorable to watch!
🦴 Nita was a true treat enthusiast! He quickly settled into the event, happily exploring his surroundings while making new furry friends along the way. Between all the pets, treats, and affection he received, it's safe to say he had a wonderful afternoon.
🤍 Sour Cream was every bit as adorable as his name suggests. With his soft cream-colored coat, floppy ears, and gentle personality, he charmed everyone who met him. He accepted treats so politely and had an amazing time spending the afternoon with both his human and canine friends.
Watching each of these incredible dogs show off their personalities reminded us why adoption events are so meaningful. Every positive interaction helps our rescue dogs build confidence, create happy memories, and move one step closer to finding the loving forever families they deserve.
